You're right. Surprisingly that was one of the only correct calls they made. That was terrible officiating. I feel like I say this 75% of our games, but it's true. I notice it all around the NBA, A LOT of people notice all around the NBA, NBA Officials are the worst in all of professional sports. I can't wait till Stern retires or better yet involved in some perverted scandal or something. **** the NBA, seriously if I didn't love basketball so much I would have stopped watching years ago. I'm so sick of this.

As much as Kings did a lot of bad things down the stretch, I am still so much happier with how this team looks compared to a few months ago. Honestly, they compete every night, and it looks like there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

Damn you stern and your complete incompetence as commissioner. You are a joke and I hate you more than George Lopez and Daughtry combined. That **** bad.

It's not quite that simple. It's not like it would be easy to just dump it down to him on the zone. Teams are going to guard against letting him get the ball in the post.

But they weren't. They were keeping us out of the middle of the post. They had that lower left box wide open. When you isolate the passer at the corner area and the big right in front of him on the box it will be no more difficult to feed it in then it always is. The problem with most players you feed it to in the post is they don't know what to do with the ball when they have it and they're only recognized as a threat to score from that spot. It's very hard to spin, face up, or make a move towards the basket from that position but Cousins can make plays. All you're really doing it for is so the other team has to shift the focus of that zone towards his side of the floor. They were keeping us out of the middle so Tyreke and Beno couldn't break into the free throw line area of the paint which is what they do. Make them move that zone to one side of the floor, don't feed it into the middle, that's where they want to you to feed it.

It's not just about not looking to pass either. Tyreke totally loses his shiftyness at the end of games. It's one of the staples of his game generally, and he tends to just try to go through bigs at the end of games. Not a recipe for success.

Tyreke was making the mistake of driving middle when it wasn't there. There were a number of lost plays where he drove into the paint with both Daly and Cousins down low waiting for either the ball, the pass, or the offensive board. Not good offense at all.

Cousins was screwed but that's not what cost this team the game. Just an inability to play a team game when it most counted. At the start it looked like Westphal laying into Tyreke really did him some good but then he went right back to that "probe" ball. Just not effective at all.

OK, Westphal just said he designed that last play for Tyreke. It may come as a shock, but I don't have a problem with his call in this one. It sounded like the first option was for Reke to look for that 3 and if I remember that play correctly he had a decent look and didn't take it. This one might indeed fall on Reke's shoulders. Now the argument is there as to whether or not a 3 point shot at the end should be called for a guy shooting sub 30% on the year from there, but there was a look.

I pray to God that ALL of these agonizing losses this season is proven to be something beneficial next season.

And +1 to SKZZZ to the "probing" problem.

The Kings seriously need to completely overthrow the "swing, swing, swing the ball in the perimeter until the shot clock hit single digits + start our (broken) play" offense.

If the Kings luck out Irving this draft, I would be a happy man.

9 years removed and the refs STILL hate Sacramento. Both T's on Cousins were absolute garbage. Is there any team that consistently gets as many bad calls as often as we do? I mean, the whole instant replay at the buzzer thing was instated after a bad non call against US (Samake Walker). They then expanded it to all late game questionable calls after yet ANOTHER bad non call against US (Michael Finley). How many teams can legitimately say that league rules needed to be changed as a result of horrible officiating at your expense? (not to mention court documents proving that your team was purposely screwed out of a playoff series)

And lately when we are in close games with good teams, more often than not, if the other team is having trouble closing us out, calls will conveniently go towards the other team. I was already upset about that Atlanta game (foul with 0.6 seconds left), but this just takes the cake. First the foul they called for Terry AFTER watching the ball spin all the way around the rim and fall out, the first T on Cousins for MOTIONING for a Kings possession, and the second T for apparently headbutting Chandler's elbow. That's 3 free points Dallas got as a result of those calls, and we lose the game by 2 points. It's blatant and ridiculous. The refs are CLEARLY out to get Demarcus Cousins and they CLEARLY gave a big fat "**** you" to the Kings tonight. The Kings "weren't supposed to win" this game, and it showed.

I'd rather be a competitive team that loses personally. At least we're still playing. I felt last year we quit.

First time I've ever heard it from an NBA game. Well deserved though. I also thought the Mavs should have been at the line with 13 seconds left and not 4. JT fouled well before they called it half way down the court. I'm not sure if all these missed calls make the difference but they change things. Oh and they called a double t on Cousins and Chandler. I didn't think Chandler deserved one either but it didn't really matter that he got called for it.

Im just tired of the small ball/3 guard lineups. Today was Pooh and Head at the guards with Tyreke playing SF. Head did hit some shots but there's no way to justify the amount of PT he got. Westphal would say it was for matchups but it obviously didnt work since both Terry and Barea killed us. Donte should have definitely gotten more time.

I was @ the game. Both technicals were bad especially since all Cousins did was run away from the refs on the 1st one. The call was eventually reversed. There's immature behavior but I'm sorry I didn't think Cousins emotions got the best of him. Tyson Chandler was deliberately getting under Cousins skin.

Yes the non foul on JT was horrible late in the game.

The big difference is all the bigs kept trying to trap Barea and they'd come over late. He'd get to the cup. Even with all the bad calls the Kings had a chance to win the game. They just didn't.

Cousins was protesting on a bad call, then the referee reverse the call. If the referee reverse the bad call, therefore they don’t have the right to give technical on the player who protesting the call because on that situation the referee accept his mistake by reversing the call. Why cousins got technical? That’s totally BS.

On cousins 2nd technical. The game was in a crucial minutes on a tight game, definitely the players will played more physical because it’s a tight game, every player on the floor will fight for rebound especially the bigman. Giving double technical on that kind of played(fighting for rebound) was unaccepted. They want the players to played soft on a tight game? WTF

This is prestigious professional basketball in united states. Why david stern allowed that kind of referee in the NBA?

Anybody ever wonder why nobody is allowed to publically call out the integrity of the officials? A player or coach can theoretically say anything they want about another player or coach with no problem. However, as soon as anybody utters a single word about the officiating, they slapped with a fine before the last words of their sentence can even escape their mouths. Why is this?
