A: I was calling for it, and then I saw him just take off. And I’m thinking he’s going to take it across halfcourt, get control of it and call a timeout. But it didn’t happen like that. But then I’m thinking why didn’t George (Karl) call a timeout, either? But there’s nothing we can do about it right now.
Q: Were you surprised that a timeout wasn’t called?
A: Even if we didn’t call a timeout we had a chance to set something up. We still had a chance to take a shot that we felt good with. To have seven or nine second left in the game, I feel pretty confident and that point in time with the ball in my hands to make something happen, whether it’s making the shot or drawing the double-team and let somebody else make the shot. I would have thought it would have went that way, but it didn’t.
Q: Did you scream for the ball?
A: Yeah. I wanted it. Especially in a game like this to be down, trailing nine or 10 points throughout the whole second half and then have a chance to not only tie the game up but have a chance to win the game.
Q: A good learning experience for Ty?
A: I think it wasn’t really so much Ty’s fault. He got the ball. I don’t want to say he panicked or whatever. He saw Nene in the corner. Nene took to the shot. So I don’t think it’s anything to do with any one individual.

He pointed fingers at quite a few people in that one
He had every right to. Jr Smith has to be the dumbest player in the league. He had no idea what he was doing running up the court like a chicken with his head cut off while Melo is demanding the ball. As soon as Jr took off dribbling up the court Karl shoulda instantly called a timeout. Melo was definitly pist he slammed his headband down at halfcourt. To me it signified Melo and the nuggets no longer being a marriage.
