I'm sure this will be the exact thing that happens... He'll end up in a big market team.

KBerg_CBS Sloan Update: Sources confirm Tyrone Corbin will be named "acting head coach" -- with no "interim" designation. #NBA #Jazz

KBerg_CBS Corbin is under his asst. contract for rest of the season. A more permanent arrangement as head coach has not yet been discussed.

D-Will may be proven to be a prima donna. But if MJ can make a trade of DJ and Crash for D-Will, I bet that 80% of the fans at RGM Bobcats will gladly take him on this team, and wish Crash and DJ the best. I know I would.

PS: That trade actually passes on the Trade Machine

Can't imagine the Jazz trading D.Will after losing their 23 year long coach in favor of him!

STEIN_LINE_HQ Sources say Jazz tried Thursday morning to convince Sloan to change his mind and stay on but he wouldn't budge after events of WEDS night

tribjazz Rigby: Sloan — You gave us your best.

tribjazz Jazz president Rigby crying.

i wish i could make a comment about how i am sick of the new age prima donna players who dictate where they play and who coaches them and how in the old days that crap didnt happen. but both MJ and magic got their first head coaches fired. granted neither of them were hall of famers who took the clubs to 16 straight playoffs appearances but....

deron wont be in utah much longer.

stern will evntually get his wish of having 4 or 5 high profile teams stacked with superstars and the rest of the league looking like NBDL teams. he can say publicly that he wants parity but we all know that is total bs. 4-5 super teams would make the NBA a ton of money.

we already have 3 super teams - boston, miami and lakers. stern needs chicago and new york to get their super teams straightened out and then he can sit back and watch the cash rain down. well, he needs to get another super team out west also. cant have 4 super teams in the east and only one in the west.

tribjazz Jazz's Rigby looks stunned. O'Connor with arms folded. Same with Sloan, who's still teary-eyed.

tribjazz Jazz's Greg Miller: Everyone tried to get [Sloan] to stay.

tribjazz Jazz's Greg Miller: As long as I have anything to say about it, the coach of the Utah Jazz will have my full support

.
tribjazz Jazz's Greg Miller said he expressed his support to Sloan last night.
.
tribjazz Jazz's Rigby: Tyrone Corbin is the new head basketball of Utah Jazz.

Just looking at it from another angle.

I haven't watched or followed the Jazz at all to really comment on Sloan's coaching style.
But the comments/complaints about Sloan are similar to ours about Larry Browns.

Is it possible that Sloan, had gone a little too old school and inflexible? Like Larry Brown. We can all sympathise if he had, we've seen how that works.

Just saying as we seem quick to abuse D Will in this case, but when it was Larry Brown we couldn't get rid of him quick enough.

Really odd. I have not seen him say anything today about his coach leaving. He has been posting though.

In the 10 minutes that the Bobcats were without a coach, I thought Corbin would be a good replacement. Think he'll do well there.

Slam, my hope is that the people in Salt Lake get upset with Deron for being a prima donna. Have the fans and sports talk shows and newspapers write bad about him, and soon he will be telling them to trade him or he simply walks when his contract is up. KInda similar to the Melo drama playing out in Denver. He only has this year and next under contract.

Hey, I can hope for Deron, can't I?

Deron Williams is a bum! Nobody should sign him! He should be punished, get sent to the worst possible NBA situation... Charlotte.

For real though, I think Sachmo might be right here... we weren't there, we don't know what it's like. It's possible Deron is a prima donna and the organization picked him because he's the star and he costs a lot more money than Sloan. Or maybe Sloan is over the hill as a coach, had lost the team, and it's better for everybody if he just leaves (i.e., the LB situation). I am not going to condemn anybody unless I get some solid reports.

Unprobability to be voted for future All-stars by coaches I guess.
