The Championship Era

Post#1 » by carrottop12 » Thu Feb 10, 2011 11:41 pm

Alright, obviously today has been a crazy day for Jazz fans, but it has also been a crazy 23 years. I think all of us have been waiting for a championship for this franchise, and we kept waiting for Sloan to be a part of it, whether you thought he was capable of doing it or not.

In the end, it turns out we were unable to win a ring with Sloan at the helm, but at least we can all stop wondering if we are capable of winning a ring with Sloan leading us.

So now, under new leadership, I think there is a lot of potential for growth with in the team with a core of Ty Corbin, Deron Williams, Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap and hopefully some of our younger players as well.

I am very optimistic that this team has the potential to take us where we haven't ever been before, and that is to bring an NBA Championship to Utah.

Cheers to the past, but here's to a brighter future!

I think the jazz have done as well as can be expected. Their will always be a bigger market team with bigger name players on that team that they will run into.

The last two years we have had alot of talent, but due to salary constraints we had to shed some when other large market team payrolls are growing.

They have done very well with so little, and I am sure they will continue to do well. But coaching matters.
