Yeah your right it has really stopped guys like Dirk, Kevin Love and Durant from being good players. and thats why Jr smith and Nate robinson are such great players cause they could jump high.

None of those guys are really comparable to Melo. Kevin Love lol.

Larry Bird had really poor lift around the rim too. I struggling to understand your point and why it concerns you so much. Not everyone is Lebron James.

KS don't forget if they are going to "trade him" whether that's now or before the 30th. They will trade him pre-deadline. They are not throwing 24 million away just to eventually trade him pre-June 30th. At this point if they "keep him" he will sign that extension pre-deadline.

As far as his comments, "it's out of my hands"... That has to mean he's being traded...

Watching Melo lately, and especially tonight, it's painfully obvious he is just going through the motions, he is playing like a guy that knows change is coming soon, his body language reeks of it, he's putting up a good front, making it seem he's interested and focused, but it's obvious he is not.

It will be interesting to see tonight's game play out, as well as his post game, with tonight possibly being his last home game.

I'm torn, I want this over with, but I know Donnie is doing what is neccessary.

I know people get worked up over guys like SAS, and even Broussard, and to a lesser extent Tierney, but in SAS, who probably has connections, it's obvious this guy knows something, but is putting on a show to keep the listeners engaged, they are all doing it. If SAS knew, do you realy think he'd come right out and say it?

"its out of my hands" = I've told Denver to trade me to NY, whether they accept Donnie's offer or not, its out of my hands at this point.

That's how I interpret it. Or if you want to be more vague about it then it could mean I have told Denver the teams I would accept a trade to so it's up to them to due their jobs. I do think he was referring to the Knicks though.

Or, one more step further.
Denver:

We just want to ask you one last time- any change in heart on signing the extension before the deadline?

Melo:

Sorry guys, I'm ready to move on...

He is not going to re-sign with Den, this is all a PR thing for him not to look bad to the fans.

when I see him perform like this, I suddenly don't mind giving Denver whatever they wanted...the man is just too goddamn talented.

he's a damn beast. I don't know how many and 1s i've seen him make the last few games. He seems like he's playing with a weight off his shoulders the last few games (or so I like to think  )

the Nuggets are in total disarray, as are the Knicks. They need to come to an agreement quickly so everyone can move on.

Ha, only difference is Nuggets in disarray with Melo are probably better than Nuggets not in disarray without him

Watching the way Melo is playing now, can you imagine how crazy it would be, if we are lucky enough to get him, to see him going hard with a free mind playing where he wants to be.. he is going to be going offff if he finally gets here having had this burden with him for what seems like forever now.... it seems like the last few games he's been showing that type of play. the play of old before all this stuff happened and the play we'd hope to see when he gets here.

If people still believe we don't need Carmelo at the expense of 2 of the big 3, then something is wrong. Something is seriously wrong.
