I loved how he threw the national media (and Ric Bucher in particular) under the bus for all their speculation.

There is no better story than one that throws a star off their pedestal. The media looks for this everyday because it sells. On the other hand, the organization wants fans to believe in fairytale endings. We are probably forever lost in the world of spin. The truth probably lies somewhere in the middle which is ok with me.

I don't think burning perfectly fine clothing is the way to approach this either.

We'll probably never know for certain who's more at fault for what's happen, but the card has been dealt. Sloan IMO is one of the greatest coaches of all time, I'm REALLY torn with the whole situation, will definitely not feel like Jazz basketball for the rest of the season, there will be an adjustment period. Hope the team has a players only meeting soon, cause these kids need to get their **** together. This year we're going to be lucky to make the playoffs, but next year under the right coach we could start gelling, right now the team chemistry just sucks. I feel there is hope in Corbin with his experience with Sloan, plus he'll probably be fired up to be a head coach too. Also who would be available next year if Corbin doesn't work out? Also has Stockton expressed any interest in coaching?

The guy burning the Deron stuff? Wow, he just wants attention. Looking like a pissed off Cavs fan in that video.

All the blame on Deron is really unfair. You can't tell me that Millsap, Jefferson, or any of the other players had differences with Jerry? I'm sure they did. Deron is their voice and the leader of the team. Even Stockton said today he butted heads with Jerry. It's what happens in the NBA!

I just hope the Jazz fans don't boo Deron out of town because then the franchise will be a mess. Getting a star player like Deron in Utah is not easy. You guys know this.

Also, the guy saying Boozer over Deron now? I'm sure you were also one of the guys booing him last night. What a difference 24 hours makes...

If Deron had a deciding role in this, he is a punk. If he was a true leader he would have rallied his team mates around Sloan and done his best to carry out Sloan's instructions. If he then wanted Sloan out, he could have waited until the summer. Instead, Deron has an immense burden to now carry the team to success and is pinned with forcing out the most tenured coach in history. Grow up Deron! Damn idiot.

Could Deron be booed at the next game?

I think it's likely considering all that Sloan has done over the past 26 years.

I'm not talking booed all game, but maybe during introductions?

I'll be there tonight, and I'll confront anyone who does. This shouldn't even be a question.

Missed the beginning, so I'm not sure. Didn't seem like he was being booed in the second half.

A little depressing to see him suddenly start playing with energy...

There was some booing in the closing minutes of the 4th after the Suns took a sizable lead, an ESPN sportscaster announced it as well. Around that time the stands were also being emptied so it didn't last for long and the Jazz players managed to chip away at the lead too. It was probably directed at the entire team's losing effort but like Hubie Brown said, Deron's going to naturally be the center of it all.
