I was under the impression that Jackson was one of the main reasons for the stricter technical foul policy so that would not surprise me.

Initially he's in this heavenly mode where he's the perfect leader, teammate, and a valuable player. Then he starts getting a little too comfortable and tries to do too much...then he thinks he's a superstar...then the techs pile up, he stops running back on defense opting to complain to the ref instead, the odd comments to the media happen more often, and as boredom sinks in his attitude just gets worse and worse.

Trade him before he demands a trade. The worst basketball I have ever seen in my life was the first two weeks of last season. Jackson demanded a trade, didn't get it immediately, and proceeded to play like an immature 2nd grader. Only passing to his friends and playing with no passion, it was disgusting.

Great insight, and it demonstrates the exact pattern we've seen unfolding here in Charlotte. That is why I want to trade Jax, and also why I think dealing him to a championship contender would be a brilliant move for both teams. Imagine the focus Jax would have on a really good team, where he would have a chance to win it all? That kind of situation could carry this guy another 1-1/2 seasons or more, until he slid back into the old habits.

Trade Jax and Nazr to Orlando for J-rich and a reserve PF. I'd love to get Anderson in that deal but I'll take Earl Clark as plan B.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
