GT: 76ers vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Fri Feb 11, 2011 5:43 pm

When: 7:00 PM ET, February 11, 2011
Where: Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, PA

Starting Lineups:

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobli
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Dejuan Blair

76ers:
PG - Jrue Holiday
SG - Jodie Meeks
SF - Andre Iguodala
PF - Elton Brand
C - Spencer Hawes

Game 6 of the rodeo road trip will come against the 76ers tonight. The key to this game is going to be stopping Andre Iguodala. We need to keep him out of the paint and we can't let him get out in transition and get easy buckets. And if Blair keeps him up his recent play I don't see how we could lose this one.

Go Spurs!!

I'll be at this game! I scored riser seats (right behind the backboard) for only 40 bucks! Usually 110. Keep a look out for me , I'll be rocking my Manu jersey!

Are you a teenager? I saw a teenage kid in a Spurs jersey looking pretty bummed toward the end of the game, just curious if it was you?

Cool if it was, though I'm sure the 20 Sixers fans in Philly watching the game got a good laugh at your expense :)

I thought 76ers played great defense on us. their length and athleticism definitely bothered us. They did a good job of closing down the driving lanes of Parker and Manu. They played the passing lanes. And they were quick to the ball. It didn't help that we're not making the open ones, but I give the 76ers credit for playing very good defense.

We can't expect to win when we only score 71 points. I mean in the 2nd half we were a bucket of suck. We should have lost by so much more.

Credit the 76ers... they have won 8 of the last 10 games.

71 points? Pathetic. The Admiral can get that by himself.

Return to San Antonio Spurs
