Records:
Most consecutive road losses = 43 (over 2 seasons)
Sacremento 11/21/90 - 11/22/91

Most consecutive road losses to start a season = 29
Dallas 11/0/92 - 3/13/93

(we only get to add one loss from last season to the streak)
Until Grunfeld goes there is no rebuild.

Now that the Wizards are in sole possession of the 2nd longest winless streak from the start of the season, the pressure of avoiding that distinction is off for a minute. Now's the time to strike. Dallas is the place to strike, leaving the Dallas franchise in possession of the longest streak. Please Wizards, don't go on strike. Get it out of the way before the pressure of actually setting a new record approaches.

Well if the Cavs lose to the LAC tonight, it going to be 0-27 run vs the Wiz 0-25 road record.

Place your bets. Place your bets.

I doubt it, even WNBA teams would be favored by double digits against the Cav's in Cleveland.

I'd certainly take this bet.

Seriously.. the scene in Cleveland tonight for that Win puts the confetti for the Wizards 1st Round playoff victory in 05 to shame.

AJ, Gee and Booby

We don't stand a chance.

Hey, Hickson is starting to get it going. Wow, is he really playing center ?

Guess it is hard to win without a center in this league.

V out for the year with an ankle.

Mo is back, Hickson will dominate Blatche. The team also believes they can win now.

I'm going with Cavs by 15+

I think the cavs win increases our chances. No desperation, they won't be embarrassed as much to lose, and the emotional high of an OT win Friday night leaves them flat Sunday. I just wish we were playing them Saturday instead.
Making extreme statements like "only" sounds like there are "no" Jokics in this draft? Jokic is an engine that was drafted in the 2nd round. Always a chance to see diamond dropped by sloppy burgular after a theft.

Yep, the monkey is off their back. We've still got our monkey. Is it a helpful monkey or a harmful monkey? Im not monkey expert so i guess we have to wait and see.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Who knows if we win any given game.

That said, I think your point is one track. Playing into OT to pull out a win after all those loses, it isn't likely they win back to back. after that. They will not be fighting as hard as the did to get that monkey off their backs. They have no center. McGee will likely go off on them. He loves to play against team with weak centers.

I'm sure a stat guy can work those numbers.

How often does a team win back to backs after losing.

0-10
10-15
15-20
20 plus in a row.

NJ and Minny probably ripped off some long losing streaks last year. Did either win back to back after that ?

So has a team ever gone from first place in the league to last in one season ? They have already lost 49 more games than last year.
