Honestly, I think I'd pass.

Eating Thabust's contract kills it for me, Mayo just isn't that good.

I don't even know if I trade Morrow for Mayo straight up anymore.

Mayo for Morrow is 1 step forward, 1 step backwards. Morrow has an elite skill and a fair contract. He is has a lot of value.

Mayo has more all around upside but his struggles have diminished his value.

I would do Sasha + either the Houston or LA pick and that would probably be it. I'd think about trading Hump instead of Sasha if that was requested.

this will not make any difference. Nets must make its big move and stop killing time with these.

Deal cant happen cause the machine can't be traded in combination with another player. I would do definitely do it though if it could, Mayo is younger, more athletic, a better defender, and more valuable in this league. I cant see morrow starting on a team that is a contender, he could be a great spark off the bench. But, Mayo can be a decent starter in this league, imo.

If MEM was gonna trade Mayo and they were insistent on dumping Thabeet. I'd do this

Sasha + (choice of LAL#1 or HOU#1) and Petro for Mayo Thabeet.

Thabeet is garbage but he will be off the books after next season just in time to open up space for the 2012 FA class. MEM gets Sasha who can replicate Mayo's bench production and upgrade their backup C spot with a player on a reasonably cheep contract.

I think that would benefit both teams for the directions they are each heading.

I don't see Memphis having any interest in that at all.

That's not dumping Thabust whatsoever and the return for Mayo doesn't make up for it.

I think a Morrow + Humps + pick for Mayo + **** gets the job done to be honest...

I'm being dead honest, I don't know that I trade Morrow straight up for Mayo at this point, no homer.

Certainly not adding any substantial picks and definitely not swapping Hump for some putrid contract like Thabust.

we dont want petro... at all. we are #1 in pts in the paint and 29th in 3 pt shooting, thus the interest in **** sasha and morrow. mayo is a 18-20 pt scorer in this league, but he is too small to play next to conley. thats the only reason we are trading him

I would like to keep Morrow he could very well be the next ray allen and if not he still an elite 3 point shooter for Lopez

but if we could get Mayo for Murphy, why not?

Hold your horses there buddy. Morrow is good but the next Ray Allen? Ray Allen is the all-time leading 3pt shot maker after passing Reggie Miller over the weekend. Ray Allen was the first option for the Bucks and Sonics and became option 2a/2b pending on the given night in Boston. Just because he's shooting a good % does not mean he'll be the next Ray Allen.

Also a young Ray Allen could create his own shot off the dribble.
