bynumite i love it. The magic needs this win more than ever and the lakers cant not stop the grammy sweep. Every win against a good team gets us more momentum heading into the all star break.

Damn Bynum is big as hell lol. Looking forward to seeing the match up of Trade Bait vs Future Laker. $100 says that Howard demands a trade to LA immediately after his current team gets spanked. Nah but srsly going to be a great game, LA needs this win to show people that we can still beat elite teams with the roster in place.

Alright, let's see what Bynum is made up of. Although, I think the real key to this game is Pau Gasol.

Howard wants to be a Laker. Now there is a dream. All laker fans would love that. That chance of it ever happening is so low. The Magic will do whatever it takes to keep him. They will trade or release every player on the team to get enough money to give him. Look at the Heat and what they did. Some Laker fans have been smoking the pipe a little to much. Just like all the Melo dreams. Lakers are better off trading Ron and getting a player for him. Another trade that is a long shot.

Agreed. Anderson's going to get worked by Gasol all game. All we have to do is contest their shots, run them off the 3 pt. line and Hack-a-Dwight. Should be an easy game as long as Bynum isn't in foul trouble.

Haha exactly what I was thinking ( Drew is huge, he even makes Howard looks small :P)
Anyways I really want this win so we can send a message to rest of the league

If the Dwight and Drew stay out of foul trouble for the majority of the game its going to be fun to watch them matchup throughout the game.

Another fantastic GT Big Game !

And like the fellas before me said, this is Drew's game. He has to keep cementing the fact that trading him would be senseless if it's not for another big. I like laduane1's post the best, it's a straight up pipe dream to think we're going to land these types of players just because they're mentioned in a trade.

If you ask me I really think the media on the east fabricated the Lakers into the Melo drama simply because they want to see New York get in on the elite status. The mere mention of "Lakers" usually sends most teams cowering to strike any deal possible. So bringing it back to Drew, he has to elevate to the status of an untouchable. Yeah it's a work in progress but it's all on him.

Game wise, we should pound the interior of the Magic. They're using Bass as a PF at 6'7", Pau should have a field day torching him. Drew has to stay out of foul trouble. Getting this game is key for the trip, we win and the other two games are what we really have to worry about. Bad teams will test our focus.

Magic fan here. At this point of the season, this magic team isn't playing at an elite level. I'm not quite certain that they can, but im hoping in time the team will get there.

Good luck tomorrow and like some of the posters have said, i hope the refs let the big men play.

Im looking forward to this game for a couple of reasons: 1. this is there 3rd game in 4 days, they'll have to battle fatigue and focus at the task at hand. 2. I want to see what Drew does vs D.Howard. As of late, Kobe's play has been phenomenal. Around the time Kobe started to shift into second gear, becoming more efficient while also facilitating the offense, I heard an interview with Phil Jackson. He encouraged Kobe to watch the 95-96 bulls to watch how Jordan operated within the offense. Looks like its working.

First of all, I hate losing.

Second, Bynum looks like Howard's big brother in that picture. Is it just the angle, or is he really that much bigger? I never noticed that before.

I've heard Dwight is anywhere from 6'10 to 6'11 while Drew is closer to 7''1. In that picture Drew looks much bigger than Drew so I think its the angle but Drew definitely has size on Dwight.

I'm going to be so pissed of Pau doesn't keep attacking. As of late its like all he is doing is looking to pass. Early in the season he was attacking. Somebody needs to remind his ass that he can have huge games if he just kept going at his opponent. Once they double Pau then he could look to pass.

Gasol is best on the move. If he try's to back someone down stonger than him its a fail. But If he is using his skills...running hook, quick moves to the basketball, taking people off the dribble, then he's fine.

This will be the 3rd game in 4 nights, and Monday will make 4 in 5. It'll be tough to take both of these, but I think the Lakers will at least split them.

I want this one more though.

Just don't kill us guys. This team is not quite playing up to par on the defensive end. smh. I love the Magic, they have just been real frustrating lately.

Lakers on a roll. Look completely different the moment trade talks about Melo happened. New focus. New team. Another blowout.
