Demarcus Cousins SUSPENDED

@samickAOL: DeMarcus Cousins has been suspended by the Kings and is not making the trip to Phoenix, according to a source close to the team.

Cousins had confrontation with D. Greene regarding the decision on the last play in locker room and has to be separated, the source says.

Reportedly - he's also grown tired of Tyreke's late game decisions and the coaches/teammates not speaking up about it

Cousins is a knuckle head but, really, he's right. Letting your sub-30% three point shooter take a 27 footer when you're down two points and have momentum is stupid. If the Thunder were in that position and Russell Westbrook took that shot, I'd probably throw something.

I also like that Cousins was pissed about it, and not smiling like an idiot (Evans).

Cousins has a hell of amount of talent and we all know that. He's just.. a youngster. He's a real whiny cocky arrogant no balls piece of ass crap. Well, no that's a bit hasty but still. He needs to chill though. Donte is too chilled to fight back, he'd probably be reading People's magazine while Demarcus bitches at him.

This is probably the best thing. If nobody is gonna speak up to Evans, then he's gonna be the one to do it.

Kings fans should want this from him. I don't know why he went after Greene tho. Leave the team scrub out of it.

Agree with this. Evans' crunch time decisions (mainly in his shooting) has been absolutely HORRIFIC this season--though to be fair the entire team has fallen off a cliff come the last 2 minutes of every game.

This game? Horrible shot
Last game? Horrible prayer of a layup

I could go on and on about this stuff but I think it really comes down to 3 things:
1) Evans doesn't trust his teammates.
2) Evans knows he won't take **** from anyone.
3) Evans ability to create anything but a layup for himself is actually on the horrible side. The kid REALLY needs to develop some kind of pull-up jumper or floater.

As for Cousins: problem is that every idiot is going to look at this from the outside and say "he's a cancer", "he's lazy", "he's a piece of crap" (already happened in this thread) but I think that, if anything, he's shown one consistent thing this year: he wants to win and he doesn't give a damn who he has to go through to do it. If that means calling out the golden boy for screwing things up then he will--and he damn well should too.

Cousins had a pretty poor game himself, he shouldn't be starting fights about anyone elses poor performance and worry about how he needs to take better shots & improve his efficiency. He needs to learn to channel his frustration into something productive.

I'm glad that someone on the team decided to step up and challenge Evans. The Kings need a leader, and Cousins is showing that he wants to be one on the Kings. Unfortunately, the Kings cuddle Evans too much, and Westfail is one of the main problems behind this.

last second shots mean nothing when your the kings.. they could have had this game won in the second and 3rd quarter if they stuck to their gameplan and ran plays correctly... nobody should be complaining about last second shots ever... last i checked, an nba game was 48 minutes long...
