Who will be your favorite Jay this season?

Over the last few years it seems like I've had a number of favorite Jays. At various times Marco Scutaro, Scott Rolen, Roy Halladay, Vernon Wells, Scott Downs, Dirk Hayhurst and Shaun Marcum have all been among my favorite Jays. Do you see a pattern there? Actually there are many of the ones still with the team that I have counted as favorites, Aaron Hill, Adam Lind, Jessie Carlson, Scrabble and others have all been favorites.

For me, favorites are generally guys that seem to have fun playing the game. Ones that show some personality on the field.

I'm not really sure who are going to emerge as my favorite Jays this year. Travis Snider, I'm sure. Yunel Escobar, because I love the smile and laugh when he makes an amazing play. Brandon Morrow because of how he worked through problems at the start of last year and because that one-hitter was one of the most amazing things I've seen watching Jays games. Jesse Litsch because of how great he was with the kids here in Calgary. I'm sure as spring training gets rolling I'll have my favorites picked out. I'm starting to consider going down for Florida for a week or so of spring training. Anything to get away from winter for a bit.

Morrow, watching him pitch is just so much fun to watch (unless it's one of those games where he walks 6 guys and gets pulled in the 3rd inning). Aaron Hill is a close second.

Pretty much the starting pitchers. Romero, Morrow, Cecil and Drabek. They're going to be exciting to watch. As for hitters, I'd say Snider for this season.

Bautista is my favourite, by quite a bit actually.

Followed by Escobar, Romero, Morrow, Litsch and possibly new acquisition Rajai Davis.

It's Bautista for me without a doubt. I also really like Escobar and the 4 starting pitchers.

I like Romero - he's a gamer on the mound, and a joker off of it.

Also I like Hill... I've contemplated buying his jersey at some point - I feel like that's the defining factor for someone I personally like a lot. I only really like a player when I've thought about buying their jersey. Note: I am a poor student and can't actually afford to buy a jersey.

My favourite Jays are Snider and Morrow. I don't know what it is but Snider's a guy that I feel that he hasn't even come close to hitting his ceiling and the more I see of the guy, the more excited I get about his future. As for Morrow, part of the reason I followed the Jays last year was because of the way he would strikeout his opponents. It was nasty.
