gotta say, not really a great look by jax. held ball, settled for jumper - fadeaway. great defense by smith.

but whatever. he made it.

I can't believe we won this one.....seriously i can't believe we won it.

JJ was sitting on the bench when we cut the lead down to 2-3 i think, then we took the lead and JJ was still sitting on the bench. Bibby was firing blanks, Jamal was settling for BS iso jumpers.

CHOKE JOB by the Hawks......they're going nowhere.

Not a good win.....UUUUUGLY. I guess some think we're still a lottery team. Losing to the Pacers and the Nets left a sour taste in many mouths too. Oh well...WTF is up with DJ.

I give the guys a lot of credit, especially Crash, Livs and Jax. Don't forget Nazr, as he had a number of solid rebounds and good defense on many posessions. Mexicat plays with enthusiasm...not particularly well, but he reminds of those in hockey who play the "pest" role. I was surprised to see him playing so many minutes, expecting Diaw back in at some point. The I thought ..."maybe Diaw is being traded and they're not going to put him back in!". Not sure that was the case but wishful thinking.

I am convinced this team could be MUCH better with a solid PF who could post-up and score from there. We have little to no inside game. The days of Kwame getting double-doubles are long gone, and those were typically not due to him being a threat on the block. Wish I could magically deal Boris for that player, I'd give us a better chace to get into the playoffs.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Whose going to protect the rim? We need TT's shotblocking ability.
