But he throws a punch at a teammate and hes a leader now?
Seems like a pretty weak rationalization to me
Did you watch the game at all?
Here's the shots that Cousins missed
DeMarcus Cousins misses 5-foot jumper
DeMarcus Cousins misses 9-foot jumper
DeMarcus Cousins misses 4-foot jumper
DeMarcus Cousins misses 6-foot jumper
DeMarcus Cousins misses tip shot
DeMarcus Cousins misses 4-foot jumper
DeMarcus Cousins misses 21-foot jumper
DeMarcus Cousins misses 11-foot jumper
Serge Ibaka blocks DeMarcus Cousins's 3-foot jumper
So he took two shots outside of 10 feet, while the other ones were simple 4-9 feet away from the basket. After watching him play all season, I'm perfectly fine with him shooting those type of shots, compared to Tyreke Evans taking a 3, who by the way is a 26% 3PT and finished 0-3 from the 3.
Either way, I doubt Cousins was calling out Evans just because of ONE play. It's obvious that he was tired of being ignored in the crutch time, while watching Evans drive and miss again and again. It's a build up of frustration because the coaching staff (and Petrie) treat Evans completely different than Cousins.
And again with that video? What did you expect from a rookie center inbounding the ball with 0.6 on the clock? Really?
