when amare was out with microfracture, what was the suns record without amare? Like I said Amare has not been a leader of his team for 82 games. Nash was the leader of that suns team when they went to the western conference finals without amare. Amare has played 52 games with the knicks and we shall see how good he truly is when the season is over. BTW the suns are not a better team with felton at pg than nash-GET REAL.

Knicks have a pretty talented roster, but Amare is the driving force behind the team being in the post season. Take Amare off that team and they are bottom feeders. As for Feltons success being a product of Amare, that is just foolish. Felton has always been a very talented player and this is his year to get a chance to play as a solidified starter with people around him. If you think Felton's numbers are where they are at purely due to Amare, then you clearly dont know much about basketball. Gallinari is pretty one dimentional to me though, yeah hes good after making a few open shots to heat up but other than that he is extremally streaky. Fields is legit, the guy has a nose for the ball and plays good defense, plus 8 rebounds a game is pretty good for a rookie SG. Chandler is a good scorer, but also, pretty streaky. Turiaf gets the dirty work done, Mozgov is still learning. This Knicks team has a long way to go still, but has mad potential. Still trying to understand why Amare left a western conference finals team for a low seeded team in the east over a year or two more on his contract if he was so assured of himself to stay healthy. Ever more so why our front office didnt just give him the extra year or so he wanted. But I guess Warrick and Childress are just as good, right guys?....tsk tsk

The Suns would NOT be 2nd in the West without Nash, that is just plain wrong. Nash is the main reason the Suns are still knocking on the playoffs door this year. Felton is good, and I give him credit, probably a contender for MIP award, but he is no Steve Nash.

A huge reason we we're winning was Ray playing out of his mind for a while, something like 18/8 with around a 59 TS%. We're been below average since he's started to suck hard.

we should have overpaid for amare to stay. amares dont grow on trees. we could have still made the hedo trades and had been amazing and deep.

Does Lopez get starter minutes ? Is Gortat complaining ?

Is the current rotation of Lopez and Gortat ineffective ?

If you'd open your eyes as wide as your mouth you might realize that there is a strategy involved with Lopez running the first 5-6 minutes.
What ? Me Worry ?

As much as I hate Lopez, id rather have him start then Gortat. With Gortat off the bench, he can use his speed against tired starting centers, or dominate the backups, as he is one of the top back up centers in the league.

Seriously, get over the Amar'e thing--He's gone. It's over. He was never the key.

Return to Phoenix Suns
