I didn't even want to engage the discussion because I'm doing my best to bash everyone's favorite owner as little as possible, I simply put the news out there for everyone to decide for themselves. If there is enough articles like the one I posted, maybe some will come around on Mr. Perfect Leonsis.

No matter how much time I put into my response it's not going to sway anyone's opinion here. I've been posting here 10 years and I've never once changed anyone's mind about anything, just like nobody here has changed mine. I put it out there, you decide what to make of it.

You did not merely post the link. You also made a truth claim:

You have an opinion. That's fine. However, when your opinion is a) unsupported and b) accuses another person of a moral breach, then you really need to back it up. Otherwise you're just slandering people for the sake of being a jerk.

If it is true that in ten years of nearly daily discussion on this forum, that you have *never* let anyone change your mind, I respectfully urge you to consider that you may have issues with obstinance. The only alternative is that you are the smartest, most perfect person on the internet ever.

You do appear to try. Maybe that's not your intent. But you make strong claims, and often choose to repeat them for weeks or even months at a time. If you aren't trying to change people's opinions, then what exactly *are* you trying to do?

That's too bad. Trollish bickering is not the be-all, end-all of forum discussion. I wish you well, and genuinely hope that our future discussions can be more fruitful. That's really up to you though. I am ever ready to be proven wrong. My mind is changeable. I just require actual, you know, proof. =p

No, not at all.. It indicates that I've spent 10 years ruffling feathers here and I've worn out my welcome. Believe me, all it would take is to post on a different name with a different attitude and many of the same folks who ignore and berate my every post would all be singing my praises.

The reason I post here, since you asked, is because the team is so damn boring to watch I need to get my Wizards fix somewhere. There was a long time here when the team was entertaining to watch that I rarely if ever posted. There was legitimate intelligent discussion here that I didn't need to bother to interject myself into. Those days are long gone, and the posters are as well. This place is a virtual ghost town and many days my posts are the only ones around for hours on end. If we ever get back to respectability you can expect me to fade away once again.
