Mark my words hes thinking about going back home and playing pro ball in Europe. He's good in stretches but inconsistant and as someone else said the league is saturated with great guards atm. He is a bit tempermental and has sulked this year a bit. If we move him now we can get something at least and wont be stuck with him in the future. Not to mention this summer Dowdell im sure will gladly play for peanuts whereas Goran will want a nice raise or he will head back overseas.

I love the kid i really do and he has really done well for a second rounder but he is not a cornerstone for the Suns to rebuild with. I consider those to be Lopez, Dudley and Gortat.

He's regressed from last year, he's not effective at doing anything and seems kind of depressed and not confident with the ball. I'd easily trade him, he's not worth developing. How many amazing PG's are in the league? Plenty. How many will be COMING into the league? Plenty. He's not worth it.

It's not that he regressed, he's the same player he was last season. Without Barbosa/Frye on the floor (especially Barbosa), teams are able to easily stop Dragic from doing what he's comfortable doing---he's not good enough to play through the extra defensive attention.

The problem now is that his confidence is shot and he literally refuses to shoot the ball at times, even when he's open. Have you ever seen Nash on the 2nd night of a back-to-back, when he doesn't like to shoot? It's because he's a 37 year old man and doesn't have his legs, but he's skilled enough to run the team without shooting. Dragic has started to play like that all the time...But unlike Nash, Dragic isn't skilled enough to be successful playing that type of basketball.

I really don't see Dragic recovering this season--He's too emotional a player.

He'd be pretty undersized though, so I don't think it would work.

DRAGIC will never be a starter... sorry to burst your guys bubble..... but i do like him coming off the bench.......

what do you expect a bench PG to do????

he avgs about 8 pts and 3 assists

other top bench PG's

toney dougls avgs 9 pts 2 assts
steve blake 4 pts 2 assts

dang i cant even think of anymore........

do you guys expect him to avg a double double... thats not going to happen

he is playing fine as a backup PG

especially since we have one of the best benches in the league

I think the problem with Dragic is that he has no competition. Last year he was competing with LB for playing time and had something to prove...To prove he was worth playing. I am hoping with Dowdells decent play that Goran will step up his play and realize he has to in order to get consistent playing time.

This board is so fickle its ridiculous. Hes just having a bad year with gentry not giving him solid minutes its probably tough to get into a rythme. Dragic is great young point guard with plenty of room to grow. He will be fine. Calling him untradeable is borderline absurd.

What I meant by untradeable, and I understand the confusion, was "are we not willing to give him up" because he is so vital to our future That's how a lot of us use to feel, I'm not so sure about it anymore

frankly, the suns need to keep goran. I think robin is more expendable. he is sooo overrated and injury prone.

Ir's a measure pf how highly I regard Dragic that I couldn't imagine this thread's title meaning anything other than "no chance we would consider trading Dragic"
