Gallo in the right situation would become an all star. So I don't know why you guys are making a big deal about "anyone" who believes in the 22 year old.

On to Melo.. Several pages has passed and "as usual" I don't see the 22.3 million dollar valuation listed as an "asset" that Denver is receiving...

1st rounder***
Chandler
22.3 million in savings that expires by 3pm on the 24th***
***Anthony Randolph, Curry, and Azub (Facilitate the 22.3 million in savings)
And whichever player Minny decides to send us/Denver if they like... Example Flynn, Brewer, Webster-etc...

vs

Nothing/TPE & 2nd

Good luck at the press conference, selling that to the fans. I don't envy Walsh or Uriji right now. But I must say, this is a mean game of poker going down right now.

Melo appears to be someone who can see the bigger picture. I think he knows that the big stage of msg is where its at...

If you explain the situation to the fans they will be more understanding than you think. How many years did we want the Knicks to bit the bullet and re-build? This idea that you have to baby everyone is false. I would come out and say that Melo has an opt out clause in his contract and we did everything in our power to re-sign him. However, he informed us that he would exercise his right to become a free agent. We remained patient and hoped that he would have a change of heart. Blah Blah Blah... I would use Lebron's situation, the Shaq situation, etc...

It's life and the people in Denver are just as human as the rest of the country...

^^
If I'm a betting man, I'd say it's either Sacto, OKC or Portland if it's a team participating in the "3-way" with us, Denver and Minnie.
If it's a team trying to deal for Melo straight up, I'd say....who am I kidding?
This is Incarcerated Bob we're talking about here!

He would have sent one to Chandler, but he's pretty sure Wilson doesn't understand what the holiday means, but Wilson could tell you what day of the year every Feb 14th landed on, going back to year 1463.

Sits back, waits for latest Carmelo thread to go to 50 pages with a 25 page Gallo vs Chandler run.

I love how everyone acts like they dont love reading Incarcerated Bob. On the outside most of you brush him off as a joke, but on the inside you still think theres a tiny chance hes right. You're all just a bunch of crackheads who need their daily rumor fix, no matter who is telling it. Dont front! Im right there with you haha.

Incarcerated Bob is a RealGM legend. He stays getting quoted constantly .

On the real though I expect the rumors to pick up a little today. It is monday after all and Steven A needs something to yell about right?

Id be shocked if this ish gets done before the All Star Game. Until then I will enjoy Incarcerated Bob's insight while Donnie catches up on his sleep.

Danny1024, where's your avy from?

Why wouldn't they? Their current center (Nene) is likely to opt out and they'll probably have a healthy bidding war for to get him back. Birdman (assuming he's not moved) is more of a career backup PF/C. Kenyon Martin is expiring and probably not returning if they go into rebuild mode. And in the eventuality that Nene opts out (and general feeling is that he will), they'll have no center under contract for next year aside from Birdman. Mozgov's friendly contract and high upside makes him a valuable asset.
