I am a big Cousins fan and I am still excited to build our team around him.

But that being said, he acted like a punk. His passion is amazing and it is why I believe he will be great in this league but he is just so so immature. I heard someone state that there are two types of mental issues for rookies coming into the NBA (1) a bad attitude (ego, lazy, etc...) and (2) immaturity. Attitudes can't be fixed, but people can mature.

He was completely in the wrong here and should be punished for it. But don't go writing off the career of a 20 year old immature kid because of this incident.

The reason I called you out for being a hater is even after Cousins touched Bynum and Gasol for 27/10 in Staples, you still call him out for being nothing. You may think he's a headcase, but the man has talent and you won't even recognize that.

C'mon Skate, you know I'm no fool as far as seeing the boy has talent. Although I'm not as high strung as most are about it....yes he can play. But all that is superseded by his personal actions, I've seen guys like him with all the talent in the world piss it all away from just being flat out dumb.

You know what the easiest way is to weed out the people that watch him play vs. all of the idiots that do nothing but watch Sportscenter and youtube clips? By looking to see what someone says about his basketball IQ.

So basically you found a statistic that "proves" what you wanted to say, right? Statistics can be used to prove anything you want. 2 seasons ago Kevin Durant had a +/- of -8.4. Was he a terrible player that year? No; it just means I found a statistic that says he was--the same as you just did.

so is now a good time to trade cousins? he has great value and potential, but the kings are in no rush to get rid of him, so they can wait for a good offer, and there's probably a team out there who will offer what they want. but the handwriting is on the wall,...this kid has always been a pain in the @$$ which is not something a team like the kings need.

Not to derail the trolling, but while the passing and rebounding looks true, I don't think the defense supports this claim. Cousins defense has been better than expected, but I wouldn't give him better than Curry ever was. Curry was considerably better at getting blocks, and Cousins is on pace to have more fouls in a season than anyone has had since 04-05. 82games shows opposing centers at a 17.5 PER, 19 points a game on 55% shooting, and the team allowing 110.9 points per 100 possessions with Cousins on the court, while 109.8 without him (I couldn't find Curry's similar numbers).

Similarly, Curry has a 50% fg% and 54% TS his rookie season and led the league his second year in FG%, TS%, and EFG%. Compared with Cousin's 44% fg% and 48% TS, they are very, very different players.
