Josh Howard
Hi. This season Howard has participated in only nine games. Is there any chances that his contract will be bought out?

No.
You can trade for him perhaps, but there is no reason for the Wizards to buy him out now that he just got healthy.

I think the Wizards would rather sign Howard for another year than have Nate Robinson.
If there was something around Hinrich for Nate Robinson and filler, the Wizards would probably be interested, but I don't see enough filler to make a deal work.

Re: Josh Howard
I'm thinking something more like:
Boston trades: Daniels, Wafer, 2012 1st rounder
Washington trades: Howard
Boston trades: Daniels, Wafer, 2012 1st rounder
Washington trades: Howard

Right. Daniels is injured so you don't need him anymore. He is pure filler in the trade. You are sacrificing a pick to turn the injured Daniels into a healthy Josh Howard

Re: Josh Howard
Nate must be pretty close to it. You don't have to send the Wizards any real talent, but first round picks are probably a requirement.
That's the problem I have with John Hollinger's latest Kirk Hinrich trade. I'm sure dumping salary is a Wizards priority, but I'd be stunned if they can't get at least a first round pick out of the Lakers or someone else.

Satan is happy with your progress.

Can you trade an injured player?

Re: Josh Howard
Yes, that is something I would consider. I'd want your 2012 first though, not the 2011 1st. At least there's a chance that age catches up with Boston in 2012 and the first round pick might be in the low 20's or high teens.
