I doubt Utah will make any trades this year.

However, it was interesting that the Wiretap had a "New Jersey will accept expiring deals" for Murphy?

Would Murphy and filler be enough for Utah to trade AK47?

Yes. I expect this deal to happen as soon as the Melo dust settles.

all of a sudden the biggest trade in NBA history is going down right there. I really like the Ak for murphy trade. Maybe get Foster out of it too. I really think the Jazz should make a run for Iggy too, even if we have to get rid of Sap or something. I think a line up of
D-Will
Hayward (at the 2 where he belongs)
Iggy
Al
Murphy
Is pretty good. our bench would not be any better but that line up has shooting and the ability to run. We would probably lose Cj too in an Iggy trade but i just think the jazz need to mix it up a little. Im perfectly fine with the Ak for murphy and foster though.

Kirilenko was having an outstanding game with Ty, he looked like the AK of old, you would trade that for Murphy who is averaging 3.6ppg and 4.2rpg. Sure it's only 16mpg, but how much time can he get when you have Al Jefferson, Millsap, and Okur already? Also AK is the anchor of our defense.

People are jumping the gun on WIlliams too fast. Lets let the dust settle, we just lost Sloan, lets not overreact. No one knows for certain what the hell is going on behind the scenes. Lets see how Williams performs under Gentry, maybe he'll be happy and go back to performing at a superstar level. In October and November Williams was the #1 PG in the league, incredibly clutch, and so on.. he was happy, lets see if he returns to that.

Let's not be naive. No one wants to make this trade for basketball reasons. Troy Murphy's better than AK in the same way that Peter Fehse was better than Eric Maynor.

I can't believe that the Millers are thrilled to be paying the luxury tax for what looks like a sub-50-win team.
