Game Thread: Clippers @ Bucks

Post#1 » by Det the Threat » Mon Feb 14, 2011 2:45 pm

After embrassing themselves at Cleveland and losing to the 2nd worst team of the Eastern Conference, the Toronto Raptors, yeasterday the Clippers will head back to the states and play the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks are not playing as well as last season, when they made the playoffs, and will try to beat the Clippers, to get back into the playoff hunt.
They'll also play a guy that'll be really looking to do well against the Clippers, as Corey Maggette will certainly try to show his former team that he's still able to bring it.

Injury report:

The Clippers will be without:
Chris Kaman, Craig Smith and Eric Gordon

The Bucks are missing:
Michael Redd, Drew Gooden and Larry Sanders

When and Where?

I'm with you Leor, simply put we need to win. Road wins are hard to come by, we could really use one.

Jennings loves matching up with Baron Davis. He has 11 of Milwaukee's 13.

The Bucks defense is really giving us problems, but I expected that

Smh - The rest of the Clippers team minus Blake gets no respect. I wouldn't be surprised if the opposing teams started quadruple-teaming Blake, since no one can make an open shot.

Hopefully Aminu going to the line will give him confidence. He is looking horrible lately.

Defence is a complete joke. DJ has been completely useless lately. Griffin defence remains a disgrace. All round horrible defensive display.

I know its an incredibly flawed stat but I think our +/- really shows how poor our rookies are defensively (and all round for Bledsoe and Aminu).

Brockman right there with his mouth open reminds me so much of what he looked like after DJ destroyed him.

Great last possession for the Clippers. 15-4 run heading into the half. The team was looking pitiful once again and fell behind by 13 or so points. Ball movement has been nonexistent for the most part and our defense still hasn't decided to join them on the road trip. Finishing out the half is encouraging, but it's hard to get confident with them.

Great way to finish the half, we need that momentum to continue in the second half
