I bought two Mens Wearhouse suits like 4-5 years ago. One fit a lot better than the other but the quality was decent and it wasn't a horrible fit. I actually had a good experience overall with them but yeah their clothes does have a bit of a generic feel to it. I wouldn't go again simply because I now know there's better stuff out there for the same amount of money. But it's not horrible.

there is a barneys warehouse sample sale (17th street) in the next couple weeks. they have 1200 suits marked down to 500 and if you wait until the last day of the sale (albeit the selection may not be great) they get marked down to 250. cant find a better deal especially when considering the quality.

Who cares if the suit was a design 3 or 4 years ago if you get it at a good price go for it. Finding a good tailor is the key.

There's a spot on E 42nd and Lexington Ave called K&G. They have some nice brand name suits in there (calvin klein, perry ellis, sean john) for $120-$140 range. They look official. If you don't like those, they have others for more or even less, but quality comes with the price. They're also a great spot for ties, shoes, shirts etc. Very reasonable!

Got some disappointing news on the technology front. Turns out that blackberry has halted production of a 4g network model because the cost of the 4glte chips is to expensive for them. And also they have yet to figure out a way to get around the battery usage the 4g networks need.

I had to down grade my bold back to 5.0. Been running 6.0 for some time now. But a nasty memory leak, and browser crashes rendered it nearly useless. Truth be told, the bold model 9700, and 3g curve just do not have enough memory to support the much heavier operating system. The 6.0 OS is 25 mb larger. And this is after removing parts of it. Add the memory leak, that can eat your memory up to 20 mb per day, and the cool web kit browser is useless. Even with photos disabled large pages crash the browser. And opening more than one tab crashes the browser.

So back to 5.0 I go. And this may explain why there has been such a delay on the official 6.0 update. And why there is a bold 9780 preloaded with OS 6.0 and doubled memory.

Sad for me to get this news and have these issues. Especially to hear blackberry complain about price of hardware. As a long time blackberry user it some what insulting. Considering spec wise, blackberry has fallen behind. And the torch, as cool as it is, is still just the same old bold. Just tricked out. And unavailable to me on my network unless I unlock it. Then I ditch the 3g network for the slower EDGE network. Not spending almost 600 bills to slow down.

Im trying to speed up. And get a ride on this 4G network t-mobile has put out.

This month I am expecting the release of the samsung galaxy s 4g. Speed tests show it to not only be the fastest smartphone (soon to be fastest) but it BLOWS away the rest.



Crazy thing is its capable of double that at 21mbps. So as t-mobile continues to build its 4g network, it should continue to be the fastest.

Word is it will be available at the end of the month. And its feature rich. Basically the vibrant with a 4g radio and front facing camera for video chat. But I dont do that. So I dont care. Im not going to get dressed up for a phone conversation.

No word on price. Im not on a contract so I have no upgrade. Im guessing price will be in the 650 range. Ouch. I can think of a lot of other things to do with a fancy 650. But I love my gadgets. And 650 wont by me a set of 24s for my truck. Beside im happy with the big rugged mud tires I bought this winter.

Im ready for a new handheld. Its really to bad blackberry is falling behind. I have to admit. Im not thrilled with buying what looks and acts like a iphone knock off. The thing looks just like the iphone 3g. And im not thrilled about jumping on the android bandwagon either. I feel old and stubborn. I really wish there was a windows based HTC device with slide out keyboard available for use on the 4G network. I suppose I could wait. But while stubborn im a curious gadget junkie. And thats part of the stubbornness right? To stubborn to change to stubborn to wait.

Still have time. And downgrading my berry has given it a new life. I love the bold 9700. Give me 4G and 6.0 and im good with this for awhile. And this is coming from a person that switches up every 6 months. Its the 4G network I want. My laptop is wifi g. I run a N network at home. So the laptop is slower than my desktop thats all wifi N. I get 10mbps on my speed tests through my laptop. So the thought of being able to have a handheld just as fast as my laptop is very appealing.

kane, I am with you and was hoping for some help here, I am not sure about blackberry, keys are a bit small.. not sure I want to jump on the android bandwagon as well. I would like a pretty thing phone, with a touch screen and a slide out keyboard.. sorry just can't do all touch screen. right now I am stuck with this old LG voyager. LOL.. I am stubborn as well. not one of these change your phone every 6 months.. my wife is on here 3rd phone to my 1.. she has the galaxy 3g from verizon and now wants the iphone.. LOL.. any suggestions for me bro? seems like we are in the same boat as to what we want... I need a phone for internet, texting, and of course good call quality.. not a big apps guy, but wouldn't mind..

I need a good place that any of you have had experience with here before, AND GOOD PRICING. I don't want some cheap low quality **** but no ridiculously expensive **** either, something that's great quality and fair pricing would be great. A whole nice car garage/shop/place to mod your car for a ton of stuff besides tinting would be great too, then I could go put HID's later on.

Also anyone know a good radio guy if I wanna get a new head unit installed in my car later on at any point? Might buy a nice one soon with an aux port and all the nice stuff. Just recently bought a used 03 Impala btw, got a great deal, it's white and holy **** it's so friggin clean inside and out, almost flawless interior. And I'm surprised at how fast it is, the acceleration is pretty quick, I get to like 40-50 out of nowhere on non-highways, I actually have to go slow for the first time and I used to drive my dad's new 08 platinum Escalade and that thing was pretty fast too but damn this thing accelerates pretty fast, 3.8L V6 with 200hp, pretty good for a first car imo.
