I wonder when Battery will come back and continue the DJ rhetoric. :P

I've always been critical of Henderson but he's finally starting to show his worth under the new system. I suppose LB was really that bad at holding people back.

Now I know how Darko feels.

These last two wins would have been a lot sweeter had we beaten the Nets and especially the Pacers.

That Pacers bull**** really sucks, because we basically need one of Indy/Philly/New York to start sucking.

I think as long as we don't play the Magic, we have a chance to win a few games in the playoffs if we get there.

I've always got the impression that when NYK's schedule gets tough, they suck.

They're schedule looks to be pretty tough over the next month. They play a couple of games against CLE, a few games against teams competing for their playoff spot (IND, MIL), and the rest are against teams above .500.

Even with our schedule, I could see us picking up about three games on them in the standings. That would leave us two games behind, with about a month to go and one game against them remaining.

How we own the Lakers is beyond me. We cannot beat the bottom of the East, but we hammer the Lakers every time. Has to kill Laker fans.

This league makes no sense sometimes, the Bobcats lay an egg at home and lose to New Jersey, miss 15 consecutive shots while looking god awful in the first half @ Atlanta, then somehow comeback to win that game, then play a game like this against a Laker team that this franchise inexplicably owns.

I'm with everyone else on this board. Although the game was good, it boggles my mind on how this team can lose to below average teams but go ahead and win against the likes of Boston, Atlanta, and LA.

It has always seemed like the Lakers are a good match-up for the Bobcats, a lot of close games. Or they'll just blow Charlotte out...

Called it. Kinda.

Great win and all but I'm kinda pissed to be honest. We always step up when we play contenders but are miserable against borderline playoff teams. That's unacceptable.

make me a believer in what sense? hendo is quickly becoming one of my favorite bobcats. i've already talked about how i love watching him play defense and how i think he has found a great role. i honestly think he is the best wing defender we have ever had on this team. he is pretty damn close to a lockdown guy. it was nice to see him going to the rim more yesterday as well. all that being said, i still view hendo as more of a role player. that hasnt changed. thats not an insult to hendo. great teams need great role players. there is no shame in being a great role player.

if you pair him next to a great wing scorer then i think he can be a starter who operates and a defender/energy guy who is usually 3rd/4th option on offense. if not, then i will love seeing him as one of our 1st or 2nd guys off the bench, a guy who can come in and change the game with his defense and also provide some much needed scoring for the 2nd unit.

i still dont see him as a typical starting shooting guard who will ever average 15+ ppg and be anything more than a 3rd option.

does that make me a non-believer?

Agree. I was surrounded by Lakers fans last night. Most pretty decent. Of course they didn't have any junk to talk so that had something to do with it.

I loved how Hendo got into Kobes head last night. Not too often you see Kobe react like that to defenders. Hendo is just maturing right before our eyes. Love it!

So was the benching a misreport or an untruth?

did anyone ever hear anything else on this?

i got to the game with about 12 mins of pre-game shoot-around left i was checking for dj and kobe and both were out there. then i was looking for diaw and i couldnt find him. he wasnt shooting, wasnt stretching, wasnt standing at halfcourt talking and wasnt on bench - so i am thinking - damn silas aint messing around. he straight up deactivated boris. but with about 5 minutes left in pre-game shoot-around diaw come running out of the tunnel. seems like he missed the first 15 minutes of pre-game shoot-around as well. and still starts. doesnt make sense.
