I think that Landry would be too expensive for a back up though - and playing him and T2 together would make us very undersized.

^Yes, i would rather trade for Landry than JT too. A Landry, TT frontcourt (rotation) would be incredible.

Brandan Wright
Jonas Jerebko
Craig Smith
Mbah a Moute
Glen Davis
Kris Humphries
Kenyon martin
Carl Landry
Josh McRoberts
Jared Jeffries
Juwan Howard
Josh Powell

Zach Randolph is unrestricted, but there's no way MJ will have the money to get him.

Then you can add guys like:

Trey Thompkins
Tristan Thompson
Marcus Morris
JaJuan Johnson
Jordan Williams

who are all PF's and might be available when we draft.

He wouldn't necessarily back up Tyrus. If you had Landry and Thomas, I think you could start either one depending on match-up and split the minutes accordingly.

I like Landry and Craig Smith. Glen Davis will likely be too expensive and I don't trust Wright and his injury problems.

Diaw slept though a morning shootaround or something and is being punished by not starting. Kinda hope we dont just give him away. He has been a pretty important player for us for many games. Have to see what the FO does, and hope they just dont blow it.

Would you consider Murphy for Diaw a give-away? That is if NJ would even consider a trade such as that.

I would want one of their many picks.

Livingston used to be my favorite player before his injury and he was a great playmaker back then. The Clippers didn't want to trade him for Allen Iverson if I remember correctly so they were extremely high on his game. I hope he turns out being the player that the Clippers thought he was. I'm glad Silas is giving him a chance to prove himself because he obviously has a lot of talent. His biggest weakness as a Clipper was his shooting even though he did hit the mid-range shot from time to time. His 3 pt shot was way off and it seems like he still needs work in that area. I haven't seen a lot of him as a Bobcat, but it seems to me like he has been looking for his shot a lot more since his injury. He actually used to be too unselfish when he was a Clipper and he often didn't take advantage of mismatches.

How ironic - because his strength now (in fact, all he's really got) is his shooting from mid range or his post up against midget PG's.

livingston is automatic (in nba terms) from 10-15 feet.

bobcats %s from that range by comparison

jackson 55%
livingston 51%
henderson 43%
mohammad 34%
diaw 21%
augustin 15%
wallace 13%

was surprised to see that jax has a better % in that range than liv though

i wish mj could spend all summer with wallace teaching him the importance of the 10-15 foot jumper

Wallace sucks as a shooter but when he's making jumpers, we get results like last night. It really is an element of his game that if he could improve it would put him on the next tier. But I figure at this point, if that hasn't happened by now it probably never will.

Livingston looking for his own shot in effect makes the defense have to work harder and that will open up opportunities for everyone else. There's nothing wrong with a scoring PG if the overall effects on the team are positive. Last night after LA got sick of him torching them, he had them on their heels then made a nice pass to Kwame in rhythm for an easy hook shot that went in. That's what we could see more of if Liv becomes known as a guy who is dangerous inside the 3pt line.

He was never really a bad mid-range shooter. His outside shooting and 3 pt shooting were horrible though.

Shaun of the Deadknee has exceeded my expectations. Every time he rises up to dunk I get the same feeling as when Yoda starts back flipping and bouncing off the walls in that one movie.

Maybe, but I'm fairly certain that Yoda was not played by Reese Witherspoon. Could be wrong, she's very versatile. I think it was Breakin' 2: Electric Bugaloo.
