In this sport I think they're all labeled fairly. In football it's a different story.

Vince Carter. Sure he'll drop to the floor clutching his ankles occasionally, but he doesn't miss too many games.

Yeah.
The way people talk about him, you'd think he's the most injury prone player in the league.
In reality, let's look at his seasons:
50 - lockout year
82
75
60
43
73
77 (Raptors & Nets)
79
82
76
80
75
All-in-all, just 2 seasons where he missed serious time.
He will miss some time every year due to minor injuries (perhaps also because he's weak ), but his body seems quite strong.
Crying on the floor like he's been shot IS pathetic, though. Same for how his "Raptor-career" ended.

Bynum. His first injury happened when Kobe bumped into his knee. That's not his fault.

Players bump knees all the time, and most players are usually OK.
I see your point, though. Some injuries are just "freak injuries", and with them, it's not really about how "injury prone" a player is.
Let's suppose a player attempts a dunk, and prime-Shaq hits him with full-force, making him spin in the air, just to drop down in a really awkward position.
Then, when he makes a comeback a year later, some head-case undercuts him while attempting a dunk, making him spin again & land awkwardly.
Would that person be "injury prone"? Or just DAMN UNLUCKY?!

Bynum is a slow healer no doubt. he had his problem in high school, but the other 2 knee injuries were not his fault. in the first Odom cut in front of him and landed awkward on Odom and hurt his knee, the second Kobe tripped and landed on Bynums knee. the spooky part is that both those injuries happen in Memphis.

I'm not sure how that makes him less injury prone.
^I agree

I would say accident prone. Oden on the hand will get injured if he dunks the ball with nobody around him.
