I'm not a fan of South Park. I would rather watch Family guy, robot chicken, futurama, etc over that.

Family Guy is for dumb high school kids who giggle at anything. American Dad is just dumb, suprised it made the airwaves. South Park is anything but "sophomoric" its the most creative humor cartoon out there for years running. Robot Chicken can be funny, but gets way repetitive. Futurama is okay, not exactly funny though.

Nash's voice on the Cleveland Show didn't even sound like him. I still don't know why he was the one who got his own show from Family Guy. He was one of the least comical character on it why not Stewie, Brian or Quagmire.Just from a comedy stand point I would say Arrested Development, Family Guy, South Park and The Office. I still haven't found a funnier show than Arrested Development. The show came out a couple years ahead of its time.

Of course, YMMV.

Amen.

Hunter, shame on you for being capable of loving Arrested and hating South Park. Two of the most brilliant comedies of my lifetime.

This is the way I see it:

1. The Simpsons (first 8 seasons. After that, it went downhill so fast).

Then:

Everything else.

The first 4 seasons of the Office are amazing. Then it's decent.

Family guy can be funny. But it's nowhere near what the Simpsons was in it's prime. I watched American Dad and the Cleveland show a couple of times and they were pretty unfunny.

Family Guy the funniest show on TV for the past 7 years?

Jeez, no mention of Curb Your Enthusiasm, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, or Modern Family? (just to name a few).....c'mon guys

The Simpsons up until, oh, 2000/2001 were EASILY better than any animated stuff nowadays.

Those show that you mentioned I like from the one or two episodes i've seen from each. I haven't really watched some of the newer shows on tv the last couple years, so I'm not up to date on whats good nowadays.

My guess was that those were the stand-in actors until they got the voiceovers.

IDK what your talking about, Family guy has been the funniest show on TV for the past 7 years, The Cleveland Show, eh........not so much.

Family Guy has only been the funniest show on its first run, 1999-2002.

I'm not a fan of these animated shows, except for the Simpsons. As a kid I used to tape (yes. tape) episode after episode when it showed at 6pm. Now... Torrents are the new tapes.

My favourite sitcom has to be How I Met Your Mother. Not only is it hilarious, it also has a really good storyline.

The worst I have ever seen has to be 30 Rock. Stupidest show ever. I saw it on the plane, and half the time I was like wtf is going on. It's not even funny, and the characters are ****.

QFT. Besides the terrible humor. The animation on its own makes it terrible. Its basically a 2D show. Crappy lazy animators.
TheJohnWallShow wrote:I guess that all depends on your sense of humor. I think Family Guy is humor for the simple minded. South Park is much funnier, and can actually hold a plot.
