Timberwolves trade:
Danillo Gallinari($3,304,560)

Nuggets trade:
Arron Afflalo($1,959,577)
Shelden WIlliams($854,389)
2012 1st round pick(top 3 protected)
$3,304,560<$3,517,475.5

why for minnesota? we get a real shooting guard where we are lacking really bad and pick up a pick for next season where we won't have ours.

Orlando and Detroit have agreed upon a trade.

Orlando Trades- Gilbert Arenas($17,730,694), Daniel Orton($1,028,400), Quinten Richardson($2,265,000), 2013 Orlando 1st, 2012 Orlando 2nd.
Total Outgoing- $21,024,094

Detroit Trades- Ben Gordon($10,800,000), Tayshaun Prince($11,148,760), Ben Wallace($2,080,000).
Total Outgoing- $24,028,760

$21,024,094x1.25+100,000=$26,380,117> $24,028,760
Deal works.

We accept, Gil hasn't been to good and we want to win now so no time to wait. Ben Gordon gives us some instant offence while Tayshaun is also a nice fit. Ben Wallace gets us the backup C we have been lacking.

Washington out / OKC in:
Andray Blatche $5,904,152

OKC out / Washington in:
Morris Peterson $6,665,000
Rights to Tibor Pleiss
Rights to Latavious Williams

OKC accepts. I don't want Blatche long-term; after exchanges with many teams, it's clear that his value is not as high as I would have hoped; and I think Pleiss has significant potential and will make an excellent combo at center with McGee.

The Warrior and Jazz have a trade to announce:

To Utah:

David Lee $10,800,000
Brendan Wright $3,398,072
Stephan Curry $2,913,840
Louis Amundson $2,225,000
Acie Law $633,253

= 19 970 165 x 1.25 = 24,962,706.2

To Golden State:

Deron Williams $14,940,153
Mehmet Okur $9,945,000
Francisco Elson *minimum, salary not included as per LCoon's CBA

Why for GSW? The opprotunity to pair up Deron WIliams with Carmelo Anthony and make a run for a title was too good to pass up.

Jazz accept. Outgoing salaries = $24,885,153

Deron is a flight risk, Curry isn't. I think I can flip Lee for a good perimeter player and have pretty much completed my rebuild.

ATL and MIN have a blockbuster to announce:

ATL outgoing:
Pau Gasol $17,823,000

MIN outgoing:
Amare Stoudemire $16,486,611
Jonny Flynn $3,192,000

We add a legit MVP candidate who can anchor our team offensively (26 PPG) and play the other side of the court as well (2.2 blocks per game). Amare is beasting this season and gives us a chance to challenge some of the upper echelon teams in the east.

Timberwolves accept. We feel gasol is the best pf in the game. Great passer, rebounder, defender, and the best post game in the league. He also has great size to play center if needed.

Portland outgoing:
Brandon Roy - $13, 603, 750

Atlanta outgoing:
Shane Battier - $7,354,500

We take a reasonable risk on Roy, who when healthy is a lethal closer. He might not be 100% when he gets back, but for what he cost we feel he's worth it. Him and JJ will give opposing wings nightmares.

#27. (Edited to take into account Conley's PPP)

Minnesota and Memphis have come to an agreement

Rudy Gay ($13,603,750 - BYC = $6,801,875)
Mike Conley ($4,913,007 - PPP = $7,485,501)
Tyrus Thomas ($6,611,570)
Xavier Henry ($2,020,200)

Total = $27,148,527 (BYC = $20,346,652)

Incoming for Minnesota = $29,721,021

for

Pau Gasol ($17,823,000)
Michael Beasley ($4,962,240)
Wayne Ellington ($1,078,800)

Total = $23,864,040

$20,346,652 * 1.25 = $25,433,315

$23,864,040 * 1.25 = $29,830,050

Why for Memphis: We give up a TON of young pieces, but Gasol is the best PF in the game, and should be great next to Bogut. Beas is a young stud scorer as well.

Timberwolves accept. Assuming my other trade is approved with Atlanta.

We get the young stud we wanted in rudy gay while also picking up some nice prospects to continue our rebuild.

Knicks Get
JJ Hickson $1,528,920
Ryan Hollins $2,333,333
Jazz 2011 2nd Round Pick

Total: $3,862,253 x 1.25 +100,000 = $4,937,826

Cavaliers Get
Wilson Chandler $1,965,720
Anthony Randolph $2,130,482

Total: $4,096,202

Accept. Talent wise I'm giving up a good amount, but I wasn't in position to pay Chandler in the off-season, so this is good value for me I think. Hickson's been playing great, averaged 13ppg, 11rpg, 1bpg, 29mpg in Jan. 20ppg, 11rpg in Feb. Already have Love at PF, but Hickson can log in mins at both PF and C for us.

Celtics and Warriors

Celtics trade - Glen Davis($3,000,004), Marquis Daniels($2,388,000), and Delonte West($854,389)

Total - $6,242,393

Warriors trade - J.R. Smith($6,757,851)

Total - $6,757,851

We lose 3 good rotation players, but add a dynamic scorer in Smith to bring off the bench.

Warriors accept. Although we lose a scoring 2 guard in Smith, he wasn't what we needed between Melo and DWill. We needed more of a defensive prescense at the 2 spot. Daniels isn't a great defender but he is better than Smith, who doesn't really know what defense is. We also needed to add some depth. So we killed two birds with 1 stone here
