Paul Maurice Appreciation Thread

Post#1 » by jalenrose#5 » Thu May 8, 2008 9:53 pm

I think this is due..

I have alot of respect for Paul Maurice, he's one of the classiest guys to ever grace the NHL. His handling of both young players and veterans was always done fairly, and despite having some bad teams, they never quit....even the Leafs this season too. His handling of the Toronto Media has been the best I've seen ever in the Leafs organization.

I really hope he lands on his feet somewhere in the NHL, I think he has the potential to be great. Maybe Florida could be a spot for him??

Any Positive Thoughts on Maurice??

The guy is a class act and I don't think you can blame the Leafs misfortunes on him. He just didn't do anything too special to enhance the team's performance but once again we made our late run. I do believe he'll have no trouble finding a spot as Head Coach on another hockey club.

A class act but not a top 15 coach in the league.
With the amount of cash the Leafs have to spend on coaching, having a poor/average coach is inexcusable.
