Seeing on Twitter that E. Smith "heard it a few times and saw Windhorst report it". Now, i back track, that's not enough for me to say "definitively" that CB was cleared to play. Guys like ESPN dudes get facts wrong all the time. Just a caveat.

I propose we boo Smitch the next time NJ comes to town. For his poor treatment of Joey Graham or something.
"Easy woman. Easy. Don't make Leo slap you around again. Don't make Leo lay another beating on you. Don't make me call my friend Kobe". It was nice to know that I had not only Leo Rautin's back on this one, but also Kobe Bryant's.

Horrible post all around. Are you sure you aren't Contender? Only Contender can spew this type of crap and not realize that he comes off as a total moron.

While on the other hand all your posts are golden nuggets of rich insight, such as this one. *starts a slow clap*

Oh please. More spin from the awful Toronto media.

http://www.cbc.ca/sports/basketball/sto ... -bosh.html

The Toronto Raptors will likely have to do without all-star forward Chris Bosh for at least the remainder of the regular season.

Bosh remained in a Cleveland hospital after undergoing surgery Wednesday afternoon for a displaced nasal fracture suffered in a loss to the Cavaliers a night earlier. He was expected to return to Toronto on Thursday.

Raptors medical director and orthopedic surgeon Paul Marks said Bosh would be re-evaluated in 7-to-10 says, all but eliminating any chance of him returning for the team's final five regular-season games.

"No one has a crystal ball," said Marks. "But if you look at the time frames, as the calendar barrels down on us, we're looking at [7-10 days], so each of us can surmise from there."

Bosh stopped playing defense after his 2nd season with Toronto. His lack of effort in that area was a huge reason the Raptors never accomplished more than they did. This is a guy that's never really understood what it takes to win as a leader and his comments over the years (deferring blame to teammates, whining about booing fans, talking about his own numbers "20 and 10" as if they mean something) suggest that the big picture has always eluded him.

He did not not try, or not play through injury as BC stated that he did in his last season. He missed 6 or 7 games after the all-star break with a sprained ankle. BC said he didn't play through injury. First of all, I don't know how many of you have sprained an ankle, but it can be very bad. Secondly, it was ridiculous for BC to say that. After breaking his FACE towards the end of the year, he missed games at the end of the year. AFTER BREAKING HIS FACE.

Bosh showed a tendency throughout his Toronto career to routinely sit out minor injuries longer than most other players would have. Now I don't know whether this was the case at the end of last year, but there are a lot of reports out there that suggest he could have played. That isn't surprising, nor do I think it's any kind of conspiracy on the part of the Raptors. They may have just finally stopped covering for him.

He made some big mistakes this summer...tweeting 'Where should I play', and constantly tweeting his great excitement about each free agent meeting he had throughout the summer was a slap in the face to the city of Toronto.

He disrespected both the city of Toronto and the many Raptors fans that still liked him last summer (fortunately, I had stopped being one years before that, having seen his true colours). Really, he's dug his own grave in this city. I doubt he cares too much, though, as the only consequence of acting like a moron last summer will be the boos he hears tonight.

Still, his seven years of passion more than outweigh the negatives. It bothers me that he will be booed whole-heartedly when he comes back. It really does not represent Toronto well.
Vince didn't try for like 2 and a half years. Chris played hard, and with passion. He deserves to be recognized for the work he put in as a Rap.

Outside of the fact that Carter was ridiculously talented, I don't see how Carter and Bosh are much different at all in their personalities or their attitudes toward the game. After their first few seasons in Toronto, neither gave a full effort regularly from what I could tell.

I'm confused anyways, are we booing him because of HOW he left, or the fact that he left?

If I was at the game, I'd be booing him for how he played in Toronto, not because of how he left, though I can see how that would have really pissed some people off. Also, he's on the hated Heat.

I wouldn't boo or cheer CB.

I'm not sure why people care so much about the guy. It's not like we were making deep playoff runs with him here. His game isn't exciting in any way. Just lots of empty stats over the years.

We are missing out on practically nothing. It's like booing or cheering the return of Jalen Rose. A player that put up decent stats, played no defense & had little impact on winning.

i would just boo him like we did vince because of the fact that it would get toronto more exposure especially since cleveland's crowd sucked when lebron came back

According to them it should be
1) Carter
2) Mcgrady
3) Bosh
4) Stoudemire

Like has The Star just completely lost touch with the fan base? Or am I crazy?
That list isn't even close to where I would put them right now. If it was me it would go...

1) Carter
2) Turkoglu
3) Mcgrady
4) Bosh
5) Davis

Stoudemire wouldn't even make my list.

Stoudamire wanted out and asked for a trade. How does he not make the list?
