**Marlies won a close fought game with the Syracuse Crunch. This game was broadcasted on theScore, so some of you may have dabbled in Marlies hockey this weekend. Robbie Earl, Ben Ondrus and Darryl Boyce each added 2 assists and strong games by Anton Stralman and Darrick Walser (1G +3) helped the Marlies to their 13th victory.

Watched the game this afternoon against Syracuse, and I saw a lot of positives.

I LOVED what I saw from Stralman, Mitchell and Earl. I really do think Earl has a shot at making this club next season. Pogge let some weak ones in today, but still shows that he's close to making the jump.

I want a huge BUMP on this thread. If we want playoff hockey, look no further than the Marlies.

The Marlies are currently sitting first in the North Division, and 2nd in the Western Conference. Go out and support the team.

Is anybody going to show up for any of the games? I am going to go tomorrow because I feel bad for the players because nobody went to game one. We had an announced crowd of only 1100 fans yesterday.

It's sad. If I were from the T-dot area, I'd be there often. This team is doing fantastic and the AHL is professional hockey - there are some great players out there.

Hope to see Pogge in net soon, and certainly glad to see Tlusty lighting it up of late!!! Go Marleafs!!!

As I mentioned, I went to game 2. It was again very disappointing because the crowd was really small. They even have a dance squad which I usually do not associate with hockey. The actual game was pretty disappointing as well because we played poorly and were down 5-1 after the 2nd period. We got blown out 4-1 in the 2nd period which was disappointing. We were down the whole game so the crowd never really had a chance to get into the game. We got pretty loud when we cut the lead down to 5-3 but the Rampage scored like 3 minutes later. Pogge got a huge reception when he came into the game. He will be a fan favourite as soon as he joins the Leafs. I am extremely disappointed that our future franchise goalie is not getting the experience of playing in the post season. Look at how much good it did for Price. I will probably go to another game if this series goes to game 6 and I hope that some of you will as well.

The Marlies won 2-1 tonight so they win the series 4-3!!

The winning goal was really weak and came with just over a minute left. I am not sure who we will be playing in the next round.

The Marlies are playing Syracuse in the next round. We went 4-1-3 against them in the regular season but we won the first four games and lost the last four. The first game is tomorrow night at 7:30 and I hope some of you will go to the game.

The Marlies lost 5-1 last night as we were badly outplayed apparently. Syracuse has Derrick Brassard, Gilbert Brule, and Alexander Picard on their team. I am going to go to the game tomorrow and see how good they are. Syracuse ended their season on a 20-0-0-3 streak by the way.
