Denver's rumor mongering skills are bush league. What happened to humongous piles of steaming lies to stoke the media and whip the fans into a frenzy? Its now round 15 with the Nyets? Um, OK. So disappointing!

I was expecting a higher level of disinformation, horse crap, nonsense, flap doodle and assbuzz than this. Gosh, I thought we'd get to the point of mass suicides, but its getting downright tame. Some of you might actually get some sleep tonight. Oh well.

Donnie will call this bluff, but Dolan will not. Guess what will happen then.

correct..supposedly made an offer which someone with ties to the Denver FO denies...it appears you make it seem it was NY that was hesitant to pull the trigger to do a Melo deal and they were sitting on a proposal to get Melo 4 the last 7 months

It be funny as hell if denver leaked this to a few reporters to make it seem like NJ wants back in, and these reporters botched the wording by mistake.

Donnie Walsh's attitute should be "Take it or leave it"

**** 'em, we can wait a few months to just sign him. Why make a dent in our future.

EAPN said, There is friction in the Nuggets locker room, many players feel Mello is selfish player who ahem doesn't help his team win, takes bad shots and not a team player, only cares about his scoring numbers, via ESPN radio. Ofcourse ESPN(Brandon TIerny show) also said, well Mello just wants to leave, that'swhy he's selfish.

What a great reasoning to why the knicks should still get Mello. Doesn't Mello remind people of Marbs, Francis, Crawford, Zbo, Curry all over again?

Come on Nets save the NYKNicks. Let these loser KNick fans who support Mello jump on-board the Nets wagon.

Nuggets trying to bluff with an off suit 2 and 7.

Nice try.

The biggest issue is that the Nuggets know Dolan is willing and obviously capable of forcing a Melo deal to happen. I don't think they are bluffing for Walsh. I think it's for Dolan.

I bet my life savings and all my assets that Denver has been behind all these Melo leaks and trade proposals the whole time!

They are a bushleague nepotistic organization that purposely does these leaks to see how the public reacts to the proposals

I love the Donnie is gone argument. Isiah produced nothing but losing seasons - despite spending like a hooker with a John's stolen credit card. And Walsh has produced a playoff team, despite having at least 11 million of Isiah's remaining dead weight on his roster - and keeping his team at the cap, with Dolan paying zero in luxury tax. Dolan lost money under the I-hole and is making money with Walsh.

If Dolan fires Walsh, he's the biggest fool in professional sports. And he's gonna lose a lot of fans - like me. Enough is enough.

lmfao...someone is lying

I'm almost positive Broussard's primary (and likely only) sources are WWW and/or Leon Rose of CAA.

The Melo Trade rumors is like a folk Tale once a report is out every reporter reads it and makes it theirs by adding to it.

Hell, a lot of our current players would probably say the same of Stoudemire's play, if he were the talk of trade rumors all season, and had a foot out the door.

Some of you need to get your heads out of the ground......"I wont shed a tear if he goes to NJ" "go on Melo go to NJ, I dare you" etc etc........ you guys act like we don't need him.... Like if he goes to NJ we can brush it off and move on to another route that would lead to the same destination as landing melo would have - NO. . . I won't say landing Melo will make or break the next 5 years of Knicks basketball, or is life and death, but as far as the next few years are concerned - I'd say it's a little below that level....

Do I think NJ is a threat right now, not right now....... but lets quit acting like we're fine with Melo going else where, 'he wants to put himself there, damn go ahead' ' we'll find our own way'.... no. We don't land Melo we sink back into mediocrity .500 basketball and miss a huge chance to improve this team by large large measures....

Don't fool yourselves by taking the fact that some think it's a given that he'll come here, or that going to NJ means we'll be okay.... we need him badly.

dolan is gonna force it to happen, so is their owner though. soon these games will be all done and they'll be forced to work out a deal everyone can live with.

I actually side with the Nyets on this one.

I am done eith this crap, DEN's tactics are bush league at best and they are a disgrace to GM's.

Stick to your guns Donnie, he didnt bite with the Nyets the first time he won't do it this time.

DEN is disgraceful, they need to STFU and GTFO.
