i think you sir are being unrealistic. this is his first time in his career that he's been given possessions and the possibility of having a bad game. this is the first time in his career when he's had a consistent role. from your post it seems like you don't watch the game. darko's impact on the game is much more than on offense. his offense combined with his defense makes him a very special player. i think darko is 2 or 3 years from reaching his peak. those jumpers he shot that's what he was shooting when he came into the league. not hook shots.
look up chris bosh stats. darko will play less minutes than him and have less shots that bosh had in his second season in the nba. go look at any big time player and look at how many shots per game they get. it's called development. i feel darko is scratching the surface because he's just now being developed.
this isn't as good as he's gonna be which i might add is already a top center in the nba. he's never even played with a good nba point guard. in fact when he gets a good big man defender next to him. he'll be all nba defense every year. watch him this game he will defend griffin better than anyone on the team. what team in the nba can switch their 7 center on an all star power forward??
