No.
Melo isn't worth Gallo, Chandler, Moz, Fields, Felton, AR, picks, money, the 53rd and 6th chicken cart and 2 popcorn vendors.

Sorry, to clarify: The exec was ranking odds of getting Melo: 1) Nets, 2) Nuggets, 3) Knicks, 4) Everyone else.

I'm really scratching my head now.

Like if he goes to NJ we can brush it off and move on to another route that would lead to the same destination as landing melo would have - NO. . . I won't say landing Melo will make or break the next 5 years of Knicks basketball, or is life and death, but as far as the next few years are concerned - I'd say it's a little below that level....
Do I think NJ is a threat right now, not right now....... but lets quit acting like we're fine with Melo going else where, 'he wants to put himself there, damn go ahead' ' we'll find our own way'.... no. We don't land Melo we sink back into mediocrity .500 basketball and miss a huge chance to improve this team by large large measures....
Don't fool yourselves by taking the fact that some think it's a given that he'll come here, or that going to NJ means we'll be okay.... we need him badly.

Doubt Dwight leaves Orlando either and if he does it will probably be to become a Laker.
Outside shot of Deron unless Dallas sorts out a way to get him so he can go back to Texas.

Most telling line from Walsh during pregame: "At the end of the trade, we have to look at it and say, "Are we a good basketball team?,''

sounds to me like no deal
So you're admitting if we gut the team we will be bad?

Some of you need to realized it is Melo's job to get Melo here.
If he wasn't being such a pu$$y about this, it would be a different ballgame right now.
