It's all good. I'm not even trying to come at you personally. Just your mentality.

I feel like what you are saying is so dismissive of the legit reasons for not gutting the team for Melo, that it borders on irresponsible that you want Donnie to have the same mindset.

I just dont get why people think Were gutting the roster. Say we Give Up Chandler Gallo , Were getting back Carmelo who plays twice as many minuets as Gallo. And is a better player, we trade away Chandler which leaves room for Buike to return. And hes an explosive dude. Im tired of loosing. Im all for the do what ever it takes to get Carmelo. Amare cant do it alone.

And i hope your watching the Bucks game. 21 Points in the first half for Carmelo. Destroying his opponents.

gallo played 37 minutes tonight so if we are going by what you said Melo would be playing 74 minutes tonight??? lat time I checked there were only 48 minutes in an nba game. I think you may be a tad off :-?

What i meant is that Gallo only shows up to play Half the time hes out there. The other half hes doing nothing

Jesus, I just spent two hours correcting my 13 year old's grammar and spelling for a science paper, this latest doozy from you is even worse. :(

Gallo plays 30+ minutes a game, how does Melo play twice that much?

It's LOSE/LOSING not LOOSE/LOOSING

I hope you watched tonight's Knick game, and saw the young talent we have on this team.

I want Melo like no other, but I don't want to gut the roster to do it, period.

I can go Chandler, Randolph, and maybe even Gallo, but nothing more than that.

So an above 500 team is now a bunch of scrubs. So some of you are gonna turn on Donnie if we dont land Melo at any expense. You guys constantly forget we are not in this position without Donnie. Have you been following this team for the last decade? Those teams were filled with scrubs and the record reflected it.

If Melo signs with the Nets then he is a Qweef and will be no loss. If the Knicks do not get Melo it will be because of Denver NJ some other team or Melo himself, not because of the knicks. Just be glad we have a shot at Melo because of Donnie alone. Stephen A Smith = Moron / IT supporter

Neither you nor I or Dolan are ENTITLED to anything here. Even if Melo wants to come here that does not mean Knicks have full control over the situation. Its not like we have not demonstrated we want him. Denver does not get to wait till the trade deadline and still get the same deal they would have gotten earlier in the season. At least not from us. If NJ wants to give up the farm for Melo let them do it. If Melo wants to extend with the Nets then so be it. They will still suck. Even if they do well, no one will care regardless of their location. Knicks are prime rib Nets are spam no matter who is on their roster.

If you are calling for Donnies head, at least know what the F you are talking about when it comes to someone who has made this team relevant again. No, you do not give Denver whatever they want for Melo. I would think we have a clear perspective of what a bad GM is having employed Layden and Thomas.

Who cares, we have no idea whats on the guys mind and we all know moneyis a huge factor in all athletes decisions. To say with al lthe uncertainty that he would be "bitching out" is ludacrious when you aren't even his shoes. Please stop.

What else would you call it if he goes back to Denver or extends with a team like Jersey?

melo does not want to come off as a d*ck...he saw what happened to lebron.

he is coming off pretty smart. he wants to blow up in ny...he wants to be known everywhere.

if he comes off as a d*ck, that wont happen. He wants to by a knick, but he would settle for another franchise that gives him lime light and a chance to win.

Especially if he gets that extension.

Perfect world is where we trade chandler, and a bunch of crap for melo.

reality probably says we'd have to trade gallo or felton...and since we can get billups back, along with a few other reasons, id say trade felton then.

I can live with a rotation of amare, melo, gallo, fields, billups, moz, turiaf, williams, with maybe TD, maybe telfair, maybe bill walker for the rest of this season...then look to either trade or sign a defensive, rebounding center and a solid pg who can move the ball and hit the 3.

by the way...sessions just went off tonight on the lakers haha.

definitely need that interior presence and a pg who is at least average who can shoot the 3...dont think we have enough to trade or enoguh room to sign for dwight or a top pg once if we do this melo trade.

rammagen wrote:This is how stupid and short sighted some the kids are around here. Who put us in this position to even be in the running for Melo? Who, now you do not gut the team to get one player. I can see one or two starters realistically Gallo or Chandler and fields but not Moz because then who would play center? Not Ronnie he can nopt play those minutes without breaking done. Then who would play center? If you keep a chandler, fields or a gallo then you can with Moz fields a better balanced team. You can not set your work for three years and the suffering for those years to throw it away and then have field a team mid-season with d league players.
You Know Donnie has moves already lined up if Melo ain't coming. He will not gut the team and destroy his work, the best part is he still has us in a position to sign a free agent in the next group of max players. Don't be short sighted keep the course and do not deviate

That's what a lot of these morons aren't getting through their thick skulls...I'll try not to get too far into it...but people are fools sometimes.

He doesn't want to leave money on the table

Hence the reports from Hahn/SAS that he is getting impatient/annoyed with the Knicks.

Whether he wants to leave money or not, just saying it would have been enough to get these negotiations seriously in our favor.

Instead, he chose to bring up his extension every week.

You are 19 freaking years old how long have you been watching basket ball? you don't remember (crap you were not around) the pre Ewing years. You can not do this in a rush and destroy hat it took three years to get us to this point.
Don't gt me wrong I am not against trading Gallo and chandler but when you throw in Fields and Moz what type of team are we going to field then? Who plays center or the 2 position. You can't give away all the youth for one player you do not do that it is simply not smart. And the people who support that need to rethink you end up in Zeke's camp do you really want to be there?

Amare 18+
Ronny 4+

54+ right there......
There's something about an underdog that really inspires the unexceptional.
