Well it's show and prove now about how real this dude is.

Considering the source, it means we're close to a deal.

Welcome Melo.

LOL, be honest guys. The only reason you all keep posting his twats are because, every time, you are afraid that this is the time he is actually right.

he is coming off pretty smart. he wants to blow up in ny...he wants to be known everywhere.

if he comes off as a d*ck, that wont happen. He wants to by a knick, but he would settle for another franchise that gives him lime light and a chance to win.

Especially if he gets that extension.

So saying "I will be a FA no matter what" is coming off as a d*ck now?

Probably not, but he has to be very careful about coming off as a villain...outside of new york...not to us...he wants to be well liked so he can get more sponsors and have more outside basketball opportunities.

People really dont like when players push themselves to go elsewhere, even though melo has actually done the nuggets a favor by telling them the truth about how he feels and what he wants...but he doesnt wanna lebron the situation.

i'm with you. people are acting like Chandler and Gallinari is too much to give up. their inconsistency is one of the main things holding this team back. they show up one game, then disappear for the next 3. they ball in the first quarter, then are unheard from until the last 2 mins of the fourth quarter. that's just not good enough. will they get to a more consistent level some day? maybe. but we can't wait. Amare's got 5 years to win, and we can't waste those years waiting for gallinari and chandler to get their §hit together. Carmelo gives us a legit 2nd star right now, while amare and Carmelo are both in their primes. Carmelo is a straight upgrade from both of them combined.

and as far as Billups for Felton, I'm just going to say one thing: the leadership, the winning attitude and the commitment to team defense that he brings is worth ten Feltons combined. look at what he did to Denver. his mere presence completely turned that team around. think about him mentoring Toney Douglas. he could salvage this kids career. think about him mentoring Fields. this is worth more than anything he'd bring on the basketball court.

yes, i am of the opinion that we should make anyone and anything available for carmelo (not including amare obviously.) any combination of any player. it boils down to this: some of you think it's too much, I, simply, do not. in fact, i think it's the other way around, and we would be the ones getting a steal. but we will just have to disagree on that.

I can see 3 scenarios

1. Melo traded to knicks

54+ right there......

glad to know you're familiar with the "new not yet negotiated" collective bargaining agreement

anyways i was pointing out that we cant know our cap situation for sure since we dont know the cba. those contracts could be rolled back, you might be able to cut a few players to get out from their contracts like the nhl did. prob not likely, but MOST PEOPLE cant be sure. you on the other hand....

i think people understand these are young players we have...young players usually improve.

gallo has improved. you may not have to acknowledge it. however, he drives to the basket (more aggressive), creates his own shot, draws the foul, and hits tough shots, including not being afraid to shoot and hit in crunch time. he also has been a decent defender and is improving as a rebounder. considering his size and age, people have high hopes for him to at least be a real good 6th man on a team with melo and amare, if not the third option in the starting lineup for a guy who can hit the big shot when the other guys are covered, off their game, or resting/hurt.

he is a guy you should want to hang onto, especially since his contract isnt bloated yet. Chandler is another solid player, but his contract is up and he may command just too much money...plus his ankle is apparently now a concern.

It's too bad Gallo and Chander are already 22 and 23 and can't improve. If we were smart, we would trade them both for 35 year olds.

This just out incarcerated Bod is a 21 moron with a twitter account. who the f would tell him anything
For some reason he has only one item that is verified by being on tv The Jets meeting Revis and looking at the time line if had a an early copy of that weeks Hard Knocks episode he could have just posted something from there.
