yeah i'm the biggest flip flopper around, the game against the pacers i told krap i'd rather have wes than paul george, the very next game i was like nah i want paul george now and still do...same with jonny, i was bashing him big time because i was getting SO FIRED UP watching him stink it up, turn it over, throw a round the back pass out when he had a wide open fast break lay up, then i loved him during his mini revival...i just want this team to win, it's best not to take anything i say after a lose to seriously, cause i'm usually pretty fired up and not thinking straight

I have been nothing but consistent on my hate for Flynn. Notice my picture that I have refused to change since last year.

I have flip flopped on Wes. I was pissed about the pick, but, despite his recent play, I think he should be a solid role player. I blame Johnny for Wes' decline. Irrational? Probably, but I do.

I've always hated Jonny, never wanted him drafted, never wanted to keep him, and don't care for us "showcasing" him. The guy is not a PG, we are dumb for forcing the issue. He should not be a started and he should not have the ball in his hands unless he is shooting or driving STRONG to the hole. He makes boneheaded plays, why do we keep allowing this given the short leash Rambis has had for guys like Love?

I think the fact people are still sticking around complaining is a sign people still care. We are an awful team with a cloudy future. I've been watching the Wolves a long time, and its just that we are bad, this team is depressing. They should be so much better than they are, regardless of how bad our guard play is. I do pin a lot of this on Rambis. Our defense sucks: either Rambis's defensive schemes suck and we need to change them or change him, or the players have already tuned him out and aren't doing what he's asking and he needs to go. His rotations are some of the worst in the NBA. Casey was fired while in the playoff hunt with similar issues with schemes and rotations (Casey had offensive issues not defensive) while Rambis has the worst record of any Wolves coach ever. So please, tell us how to spin this so we sound more positive? I'm happier than apple pie in November that Love has been great and Beasley has been redeemed, and Darko and Tolly are solid, but there isn't a whole lot of great things to say about a team this calibur of bad.

Flynn is in a bad place mentally due to the bad place he's been in physically. Hopefully he can turn it around in MN. If not, I'm sure Ridnour can hold down the fort until Rubio comes over....and Flynn is still a great trade prospect (not as great, but PGs are always nice to dangle). I still expect Flynn to be as good as he was at the end of this season as we has last season.

- As for the negative nancy's on the board.....I don't mind opinions. What I do find annoying is how there really isn't good conversation or arguing that is taking place. Instead, we have too many "heart on my sleeve" posters...which is okay, but it isn't as much fun to read posts that flip-flop depending on the day (especially when those posts don't have many new or valuable points).

Basically the new forum formula is:
1. Start a thread due to someone's poor performance. The OP needs to contain at least one irrational blurt or claim of inferiority compared to the rest of the league.
2. The following posts contain concise replies of
A. YAY, that's what I've been saying all season or
B. NAY, just give the young pups more time.
3. The older poster making a post about the good ol' days.
4. See number 2 (only in regard to posters instead of Timberwolves).

After listening to some the the things Rambis has said in interviews and such, I've really turned into appreciating him and his approach. I still want to give him a half-season with Rubio before we cut ties, otherwise the last 2 years seem pretty much useless.

Well, here is hoping that the rest does Flynn some good. We desperately need him to at least play like he did last year, if just to get his trade value back up. Its funny, I have absolutely no idea what our PG position is going to look like next year. I think its pretty likely that are 2-5 is going to remain the same going into next year, with of course, our draft pick. PG though? Man, I have no idea.

The idea of "change" brought in by Kahn excited me.
The first coach with potential brought in (other teams actually wanted him!!!)
All the assets available, picks, cap space, Love, Jefferson, etc.
The promise of Rubio.

These things had me excited, refreshed the years of trying to plug the holes in the KG ship. It undid the dysfunctional vision of Mchale based on mid-80's basketball.

I see our assets either drying up or being moved on pennies for a dollar. I see some of the worst draft theory I have seen in a front office. I hear talk of vision and development but have yet to see it and it makes me tired. I follow the team, but she is hard to pour mental energy into.

Jonny's biggest problem is that he ended up in possibly the worst possible situation for his development and seemingly nothing has went right since.

It's interesting to note how his career appears to be trending towards what was speculated for Jennings...
