That is what happens every time you try to appeal to the broad masses

There like the fox news of sports, we find out stuff here hours before they break it, now for the next 2 days we are going to hear the nets drama when in reality there is no water to the story just like the Lakers. After they were in on the Lebron saga they been non-credible.

and msnbc must be espn2...same sh*t, different channel.

Agreed. I'd trade Fields or Gallo if we can get JR back. Otherwise, we might have issues.

At the end of the day Carmelo Anthony is going to accept a trade to anyone who will give him that extension. Whether that be New Jersey or New York or staying in Denver, he will sign that extension. He wants the money more than anything else.

If he wanted New York he could have said it already. He didn't demand it to his team, which means he isn't as serious about that as he is about his $65 million extension.

If Denver wants to ask for the sun and the moon in negotiations then they can go ahead and make a trade with the Nets, enjoy their compensation and Carmelo can enjoy rotting in the swamps of New Jersey with Brook Lopez for a few years before rotting away in Brooklyn for the rest of his career. That's the way he wants it, after all. If he wanted it any other way he would have already said it.

im good with Felt, Gallo, AR, Moz, Curry...Maybe I swap Wil with Moz but thats final offer, last second, gun to my head. If NJ can beat that then Melo makes his own bed.
There's something about an underdog that really inspires the unexceptional.

Brilliant analysis.... this explains why he hasn't signed with Denver for all this time. He wants the money.....

oh wait a minute, that's all wrong.

Ah, a wise guy comes in to talk down to his fellow message board member. Never seen that before.

Here's the deal, Ms. Cleo: Carmelo Anthony wants his money and he will sign that extension after the deadline with whoever he is with. It was cute for him to threaten not to sign it months ago but he also expected to be traded months ago. He's still there and the clock is ticking. He will not - NOT - walk away from that money. Not in a million years. Not even if he has to stay in Denver because of it.
