Trade Proposal

Post#1 » by blackham9258 » Thu Feb 17, 2011 4:44 am

Granger

for

Millsap
CJ Miles

Millsap would be a 20/10 guy on your team when he doesn't need to share touches with Jefferson and CJ would be a 15ppg starter. Fair value? We could also throw in Price, or Elson to make the money match.

Put it in the trade thread next time.

It's fair value, but we don't have the need to make this move right now.

We don't value Miles like Utah does, so to us he is just a throw in where he isn't to you guys.

I wouldn't do it.

I'm with Indy, we could sign David West or Z. Randolph outright, and keep Granger.

Trading Granger for almost any PF makes absolutely no sense at all. To me that PF would have to be head-n-shoulders above the two guys I just mentioned.

Thats where I am at.. to the point that I would sign Randolph if it meant we didn't have to trade Danny. Once this team has a grinder down low, we'll take our respect forcibly.

I agree. Plus that would put us at 16 guys on the roster. I wouldn't have a problem cutting a couple guys but this doesn't seem like something we need to do right now.

Agreed with Boneman. Millsap is good but I don't think I'd give up Granger for him, especially with McBob/T looking solid and two or three nice PFs being available in the upcoming class of free agents, certainly better than the (attainable) SFs that will be available.

How about we counter with:

Ford-Dunleavy-Foster

for

Kirilinko - Milsap

Collison-Price-Lance
George-Rush (makes me think of GSP everytime I see this duo)
Granger-Kirilinko-Jones
Milsap-Hansbrough
Hibbert-Jones

You forgot McRoberts in your depth chart, and I love that trade, but Utah would never take it.
