I hope we can land Dalembert if he's bought out. Or Murphy.

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

That's pretty much my list right there. Picking up Iggy and Dalembert would be nice.

Whether small or big, a trade will happen.

75 % + don't quote me though. I'm pretty confident something will go down.

Believe the trade deadline is the 24th, still plenty of time.

As for an over/under on if a trade will be made; I vote for the under. Orlando's main need is for a new backup Center. But Bass' health will accent Anderson. I think GM Smith will stay put.

But if a trade is made, I would see it being a package of Duhon and Richardson-I for a serviceable Center.

if you mean Duhon and Q-Rich, no one is taking them off our hands except for possibly Diop.

If we're gonna make a move for a serious piece, we have to get rid of Duhon (3.5M, 4yrs) and Q-Rich (2.2M,3 yrs) These guys make way too much to ride the pine, especially since we are a team over the luxury tax. (Orlando is paying ~7M/yr for Duhon & ~4.4M for Q-Rich as long as we are over the luxury tax. That's $12 million for guys who are basically cheerleaders.)

We need to dump Duhon, even if it costs us a 1st round pick & some cash. A team like Cleveland, Minnesota, or Charlotte might want him or the pick.

I can't see us taking on more salary (ie. Iguodala) unless we can dump some dead weight (Duhon,Q-Rich). It just sucks because we really need some wing defenders.

^^^ Duhon makes 3.5m per and QRich makes $2.5m per. That is $6m per which is not bad for backups. But, not for backups that we don't use.

Also, I can't see Houston trading Miller. They are in a dire need of bigs over there.

Evan Dunlap: The Magic are still quiet on the trade front, according to a source I consulted yesterday. Twitter

GM Otis Smith has come up empty so far in search of a backup big man to replace Marcin Gortat. That Smith has tried to dampen expectations means he is not optimistic about landing one before the deadline. Orlando's best hope may be for the Nets to negotiate a buyout with Murphy, whose most likely destination would be Orlando, according to a source.

Seems like no more big trades for us

Otis is so tight lipped that no one will know anything until the deadline is over.

I like the news about Portland trying to trade for Devin Harris because I think they are a darkhorse candidate to land CP3 or Deron in '12. If they get Harris, then they are eliminated from the competition. :)
