The love Melo would receive from The Garden faithful if he did decide to come as a free agent, would be on another level.
One can dream I guess.
It's hard to know what to believe at this point, but the truth is always stranger than fiction. This will be an interesting next few days.

NBA source: Denver's demands worse than thought. Chandler, Gallinari, Fields, Felton, Mozgov, 1st-rd for Melo-Billups.

Knicks were flabbergasted when receiving proposal last week, feeling Nuggets didn't really want to do deal with that offer.

It's a plausible theory but I think it's a coincidence that the team played well last night. They are not communicating with the players that frequently or openly, especially if the media didn't find out.

Purely speculation of course, but could Mike leaving the starters in up until the final second of the game despite the last 2 or 3 minutes being garbage time, be for the fans to see some of these guys one last time as a Knick and cheer them off the court together as a unit. Its very likely that was the last time we ever see those 5 guys on the court again.

No wonder Donnie told them to take a hike.

This bulsh*t is even getting to cool and calm Donnie.

Melo basically checked out of Denver. That is obvious. But I don't hear a guy who is willing to go to free agency. I don't think he will say no to NJ at this point if they make a move.
