It's a special day for the Suns: Gortat has a birthday (Jordan is so lucky to share a birthday with him  ) and Gentry is one win shy of 100 as Suns head coach (to get it tonight would come on the two-year anniversary of his first win) and...

This is going to be such a tough game. If Terry is hitting his shots, and is allowed to shove everyone around, which does all the time, we will have a terrible time staying in this game. If we can keep him under control, and other guys like Berea don't pick us apart, we should do well. Dirk is going to get his points, but Nash can't just leave Kidd open to dare him to shoot. Marion might want to try and make this a statement game. Look for Kidd to post up Nash.

I remember when Jason Terry opened his mouth last time and that turned our season around. If we can play with some fire tonight we will take this game.

Thanks for the thread RVM - nice one

I have to make nice with some work friends of my wife's so I'll be watching it later tonight, in my bathrobe and drinking a bottle of wine .... I've woken her up before, yelling at the screen. I've alos drunkenly woken her up to tell her we won.
Neither was an optimal strategy

... hoping Pietrus keeps up his defensive intensity and the rest of us follow suit. Everyone needs to step up and deliver tonight ... time to turn the corner on this season.

I am strangely excited, as if it were playoffs already.

In RvM's game threads we trust.

Ps I hope we have scouted Boubois - he's just come back from injury and is already putting up some good numbers. Which is good for my fantasy team :)

This game is going to be very difficult, especially when players have a tendency to blow this game off being the last game before the break.

But if we can pull out a win it'll say a lot about where this team's mentality is. It'd be huge. It's gonna be hard though.

My hope while keeping it somewhat realistic is that the Suns win in a close game.
