Another Magic deadline note from @ChrisMannixSI: ORL among many teams who like Kirk Hinrich, but $9M salary makes deal "tough." via twitter

Dude has traded for all types of players in the last few years, including a pretty big trade this season, not sure if more movement is a good thing. Murphy would be an addition without losing anyone, something like that might work, otherwise, chemistry is going to be messed up for the remainder of the season and we can forget about winning this year.

I've always loved Hinrich, he would be a nice addition.

I always liked Hinrich too, but we have no room for him now.

If we trade for him (not saying we are) he can play 1 or 2 guard. That means we'll have to involve Jameer, Duhon, Q or J richardson, and Redick in a trade.

Hinrich would be a nice PG/SG to have, but like other posters have said it'll be hard to obtain him.

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

Portland seem keen for a PG, considering they've been mentioned in regards to Sessions and Harris. i wonder if Duhon will do?

Duhon for Pryzbilla.

I am surprised with all of the Melo talk that no one has suggested Nene as our solution at C. If Melo goes, you can bet that Nene would be on his way out as well. The Nuggets would go in to complete rebuilding mode. The best part is, the pieces they would be looking to unload would all fit pretty well here, IMO.

As of tomorrow, we will be able to trade the players we acquired from Phx.

I am partial to this idea...

Orlando Trades
Jason Richardson 14.44 Mill (expiring contract)
Ryan Anderson 1.40 Mill (Rookie Contract - very good young talent)
Earl Clark 1.89 Mill (Rookie contract - solid young talent)

Denver Trades
Nene Hilario 11.36 Mill (2 years left on deal - unlikely to extend)
Al Harrington 5.76 Mill (5 years left on deal - Nuggets looking to shed the contract)

I've been thinking all this time, that there will be a trade before the deadline. But now sadly, I'm losing that feeling. We'll see..

i'd take Hinrich. his deal is front loaded so it's even cheaper next season, plus, he expires next season.

however, bringing him in means we'd have to move one of our guards, otherwise there's no room for them. unless Washington want to take QRich and Duhon in return? lol.

would mean another deal would have to be made, and i'd assume it would involve JRich, since we lose him this offseason and will need another SG.

small deals most likely won't improve us enough and it's probably too soon to make a big move.

i don't think anything happens other than us signing Murphy once he's waived.

We need a Big....Not another shooter hybrid Big...A Big that has the ability to Block shots and Rebound that's it.....We don't need anything else unless it's a home run....We have too many pop fly's on our team to begin with

what about trading Mehmet Okur from Utah? He can play at PF and C, which we need depth.

I don't see how Nene isn't what we need and one of the best options out there. Other pieces have to fall in place for him to actually become and option but I would say the odds are pointing towards Melo, Nene, and family leaving Denver.

Nene's numbers:
15 pts, 7.1 reb, 2 ast, .9 blk, 1 stl
63% FG, 76.4% FT

He can hit a jumper, plays defense, shoots high percentages and doesn't demand a lot of attention.
