Nobody really believed the Nets would say no if Denver came back to the table. The question is, can they close the deal.

Meanwhile as all this is SUPPOSEDLY GOING ON.... the Nyets are quietly talking to Portland about Harris + and to whoever will listen about Murphy. But we are supposed to believe that they are ready to send their entire roster and picks to Denver.

By the time the trade deadline passes Denver will leak the other 26 teams they made a trade with in 2k11. Denver is desperate no doubt about it.

I STILL BELIEVE that Melo told Denver the extension is Knicks or nothing. But I think they told him play ball, and we'll see, don't play ball, and NO WAY. I believe they coached him on how to act (so other teams would still make a play for him) and try to leverage the Knicks offer.
