See ya, Denver. Talk to you in June, Melo.

Donnie - execute Plan B. I know you got one.

No worries fabricated story most likely.

You think Ujiri would be better at making more realistic fake trades by now...

it's a little vague but that sounds like there is no deal to me.

Before you all get excited, what the hell is she meant to say? "Yes Mikhail contradicted himself and we are after Carmelo again".

No she is not. If things start happening, it will be in LA. There is no way Carmelo and the Russian won't meet in LA.

I can kind of understand what Denver is doing but it's gotten pretty ridiculous. They've gone about it the wrong way and it makes them look bad. I've never seen so many leaks and incorrect info floating around. They took an idea that could make sense (leak a few things here and there to try to get NY to pony up and wait till the last min possible to see if someone else offers up) and took it to an extreme that just makes them look bad.

I can see Donnie having a special ringer on his phone for Uri. When that ringer goes off, Donnie knows he's got the Nuggets in a choke hold.

Alan Hahn sounds very confident as does Tommy Dee and Chris Sheridan again don't know what its worth but both haven't changed their stances through this so we'll see those are only a few of whom who have not changed their stances while their are others like Wojo and Broussard now both are more just reporting the rumors not giving their opinions so its tough to judge them but Dee, Hahn, and Sheridan haven't changed their stances throughout this and I trust them lets hope their right but no matter what we say it would be tough to see Melo in NJ and than Brooklyn but I believe Melo wants the Mecca baby!

I am posting the below that other posters have posted only to be able to reference to it on the title.

There were reports on Wednesday that the Nets and Nuggets had renewed talks about a deal for Anthony. However, Prokhorov spokeswoman Ellen Pinchuk said in an e-mail that the billionaire maintains his stance, despite the reports.

"Mikhail has not changed his mind," Pinchuk wrote.

When asked if that meant Prokhorov does not want the Nets to reopen talks with Denver at this point, the spokeswoman said:

"What I said is what I said," she insisted. "Not what you said."

To be honest, what Prokhorov's spokeswoman said was not really all that encouraging to me. She merely stated "Mikhail has not changed his mind" and "what I said, is what I said...not what you said". Basically, that is cryptic-speak for:

"My boss would look like an idiot if after taking such a strong stance on bowing out graciously, that he'd then turn around and get used again. So he hasn't changed his mind but if Denver comes to us and if Melo meets with my boss and tells us he would sign, I would polish his pecker on behalf of my boss, Mr. Prokorhov"

The funniest part about this new "trade" is that the Nets are now surrendering even more. The original trade was Favors/Harris and 2 picks. Now, they allegedly "added" two extra picks to this deal AND are taking back more salary (Balkman). And they don't get Rip either

You would think, if they did come back to the table, they would to a deal on their terms with a lesser package. In this, they are surrendering even more... Nets
