In seriousness though, it is interesting how the Nuggets and Nets are probably on opposite sides of the spectrum as far as wanting talks the be kept under wraps. Nets claimed 'they were out' and wouldn't want to hear their name mentioned regardless if he didn't come cause it would just be more embarrassement / hurt the team.... while the Nuggets are probably trying to use any team they can get their hands on to give us some competition...

Also interesting this deal now is centered around picks... perhaps Prokorov will say, if called out about it, that it 'doesn't involve players currently on the team and therefore wouldn't hurt to open up again'...

Lol look how happy they all look. I mean...i would be too if i was a scrub and signed a multi-year multi million dollar contract. I mean yea it sucks they are Nets, but at least they got paid haha.

It's a safe bet the Nuggets will keep Melo. I just don't see Denver giving him up @ this torrid scoring pace, the temptation of 65M, Melo's growing frustration with the Knicks, and the upcoming CBA that might battle for a franchise tag.

Also Denver doesn't want to help NY. What franchise wants to help a NY franchise get better in ANY SPORT?!?!

Modern day GM-ing is a cut throat science. That's why all this talk about respect Donnie commands...I think Walsh is very honorable. Problem is, rest of the league is NOT.

I wish someone would just ask Donnie what he thinks about how the Denver FO is dealing with the potential trade of Anthony. Donnie must be unbelievably annoyed with them.

Those picks are crap except the Nets own this season (in the weakest draft since 2000). The Lakers 2011? LOL. The Warriors 1st? It has conditions on it that could make it a 2nd rounder. Murphy is basically Eddy Curry with smaller tits.

If that, they are idiots. 1) They are not making the playoffs this year. 2) They are paying 13 million in taxes on top of remaining salaries. 3) Their window is long closed. 4) Melo will leave.
