I have some of these in my freezer. Its amazing. Swear to god it is practically like sushi tuna, I can defrost it in an hour and eat it raw and its delicious or fry it up quick in the pan with some sauteed onions. It has zero fat, never seen a leaner meat. I know I'm a funny SOB, but I ain't kidding about this. I don't joke about my meats.

I am a meat eater. In fact, I joke. And call myself a meatetarian. Because my diet consists of mostly meats. And I dont really eat fruits and veggies. Unfortunately.
Most recently, I have taken more of a.....concern in health and diet. Im not a youngster as you know. And while im not a fat sloppy man, im a big man. Naturally. Just my build. Thick heavy frame. They say my ideal weight is 175. Bull. I was 180 freshman year in high school. And was skin and bones. That was **** YEARS ago bro. LOL.
So,.. now, I want to get more onto my health. Because I never cared about that. I just developed into a big strong guy. Without worrying about it. But now im older so I want to take some steps. Because my moms had a heart attack many years ago. My pops was like me. Just naturally a big strong guy with little thought to diet and fitness. He's gone. For other reasons.
Anyway im getting to personal for the board. But yeah, I have seen and heard about this meat. Not really a sea food fan, (as per your example). But im curious about it. So I think im going to try it out.
WOW. I just proof read this post. A whole lot of info. But screw it. Maybe someone out there has the same thoughts. Same feelings. I like to speak. Because my experience, your experience is knowledge. And we can all learn.
By the way. Go knicks. And speak up melo.

Have a good big bowl of it in the morning with whatever makes it seem real tasty like nuts and fruits and I add nutmeg. Then whatever you need to do the rest of the day is easy. Meat once at dinner or lunch, but you won't need as much. Thing about ostrich is its pure. You assimilate more protein that way. Body only assimilates a minority of most meats consumed and discharges the rest as nitrogen waste, something you can minimize with purer stuff. I eat it raw like sushi (thanks Neneh Cherry) and that probably assimilates even better. I feel nourished eating it raw. I would not eat raw meat from other sources though. Not safe. 4-6 ounces of ostrich will satisfy your primal bloodlust just fine. It is the reddest meat I've ever seen. Definitely not like chicken. I like it. The best cuts are not really cheap per pound, but the ground meat is pretty pure too, unlike ground beef. The point? Eat pure untainted, non-mass produced meat of high quality in smaller quantities and you get what you need and eat some veggies and you're good to go.
P.S. Blackwing delivers it on dry ice. Arrives frozen. Spending $200 on meat on the internet might feel like a luxury, but you'd be surprised at how far it goes and how economical it becomes if it changes your habits a bit. You can spend $150 at the supermarket now and take home lots of crap. And there's a limit to how many questionable roast chickens from the supermarket you want to wolf down. Gets tired after a while.
Meat is not cheap. I used to go to the store and buy it in bulk from a meat market. (back home) Then freeze it. Here is different. I go to the store. Its more expensive. But like I said and like we have been talking about. Health. Its fatty. I buy medium quality cuts. Sometimes high quality cuts. Its still expensive. Its still fatty.
Like I said I heard about the ostrich meat you suggested. I even seen some burger shops offer it here. But I never tried it brother. Im going to give it a shot. They say eat more lean meat. Less fat. Well, to me, thats a 90% ribeye. LMAO.
Some lean ground beef. I buy a pound for me, put it in the pan. Season and cook it slow. I like to drain it often. So slow cook I feel helps me get the junk out. I know its still not healthy. But what the hell. I know nothing else. So I try. I even got a george foreman grill. But thats more hype than function. I mean its solid. But its no different from draining the pan. At least in my opinion.
Im going to go to 5 brothers. They just closed fuddruckers. They had all the meats every cut in a burger. Buffalo, Ostrich, beef, turkey, and stuff I never heard of.
Thanks for the insight brother.
