No Dolan and Allan Houstan will be there along with MSG pres. Scott O Niel it was reported Denver and NY would have discussions there and a face to face meeting a few days ago from CBS i believe

I think these guys' sources lost most of their credibility during the last go-around of Nuggets/Nets rumors.

And as usual when it's related to the Nets there's a report every time Prok burbs, whereas with the Knicks it's always a lot more vague. Therefore, either A) Knicks have not had discussions with Denver for sources to leak or B) Denver is intentionally leaking stuff about the Nets to try to put pressure on the Knicks.

That is really pretty upsetting..... I know he'd be there if he could, but this very well could be the most important, defining few days of Donnie's tenure here - and Knicks basketball for a few years... To not be there face to face with these guys to get every 'advantage' we can is tough.

Not that I think the russian will be able to tell Melo anything he probably doesn't already know... but if Denvers taking this down to the wire, tells him its Nets or youre losing 20 mil, and he goes and has the inevitable meeting with Prokorov, which i'm sure he'll have either way, - little bit unsettling.

Im done believing all these sources and crap about stars coming here. Lets just move on. I have no idea what moves Donnie could maketo help us besides make a strong push for Gasol in the summer even though he probably isn't going anywhere.

Lets be real here guys...Melo is going to NJ. It was always his backup plan if he couldnt get traded to NY and we all know he wants his money. If he never wanted to go there he would have written them off just like he did with the Bobcats earlier. He probably doesnt want to play in NJ (who would) but with a lockout almost certain, he could only have to play 2 more months in Newark then open up 2012 in Brooklyn.
