You call giving up 99 points a "almost a perfect game"? The Bulls were good tonight, but in no way was tonight a "almost a perfect game."

Anyways, it was a good win.

Ok, my bad. The Bulls played their best game of the season. The Spurs were still in it.

It was our perfect game, imo. That's as good as things can break for us. It can always get better, but that game was us playing at fever pitch for 48 minutes. No lulls, no head-hanging, no overconfidence.

It's tough to call down 15 with 8 minutes left quite "still in it" but I'm not complaining. Your team is really good, and 1-1 is a-ok with me for the season series. If we play again, then I'm already satisfied no matter what the outcome.

I still have no idea what Matt Bonner brings to the table besides open threes against cellar dwellers. The team did not miss a beat without him and he showed a degree of incompetence tonight that was just embarassing to watch.

I think he was simply pointing out that we didn't win by playing Chicago Bulls basketball. Which is with defense and holding our opponent to a low scoring night (usually under 90ppg).

But you are right its one game and there is no need to sweat it.

No shame in losing to these guys, fantastic team. Their D is off the charts amazing. I got them coming out of the east.

Rose is a freak.

We should know what we're getting - as well as not getting - with Red Rocket by now. He's a dead eye three point shooter and little else. I thought he played okay in spots against Chi, some decent D from him here and there. What else do you expect from this guy?

Blair didn't show up at all in this game, and he needs to be held accountable in this case, much more so than Bonner IMO.

Here's some perspective which took a bit of the sting out of this loss, for me at least: we lost our tenth game last season on the 15th of December, 2009.

Ironically enough, the Bulls are the team that ensures the Spurs cannot beat their record record of 72-10. :)

When i was talking about Parker's D, i wasn't expecting that he can stop a freak like Rose. But, when you are not covering the passing line on a pick and roll, you are playing bad D..

Spurs bigs should've done a better job rebounding and on D. Blair had a bad game and Dice wasn't very sharp..It was a great test for Splitter so as to know what can he bring on playoffs. Too bad he was injured.

Beyond all our defense failure, Bulls were just great on offense. Have to give them much of the credit for the win..

Well it was the last game of a long road trip and the last game before the All-Star break and we just got outplayed by a very talented Bulls team.

I really like the Bulls this year. They play some amazing defense and Rose is just amazing. Just wait until they have Noah back and healthy.

I was predicting this to a Bulls fan at work just prior to the game. Man, they have a lot to be excited about in the next 5 seasons. Especially if Rose can keep improving..
